In line with its commitment to promote and protect the rights and welfare of children, the Department of Labor and Employment XII โ Sultan Kudarat Field Office (DOLE XII-SKFO) successfully conducted an Information and Service Caravan on ๐๐๐ฒ 28, 2026, ๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฏ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐จ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฒ๐๐ง, ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ญ.
The activity benefited 40 ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ ๐น๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐, providing them with various services and information aimed at improving their well-being and strengthening the campaign against child labor.
The caravan was made possible through the active participation and support of partner agencies and stakeholders, namely: LGU/PESO Bagumbayan, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Philippine National Police (PNP) Bagumbayan, Municipal Police Station (WCPD), 1202nd Regional Mobile Force Battalion XII, Municipal Health Office of Bagumbayan, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) -Sultan Kudarat, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) -Sultan Kudarat, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MWSDO) Bagumbayan, and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority PTC-Sultan Kudarat.
Beneficiaries availed of various ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ, ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ก๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ก๐๐๐ค-๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฌ, ๐ฉ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ, ๐ฌ๐ง๐๐๐ค๐ฌ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ฌ facilitated by participating agencies.
As part of the activity, the Project Angel Tree Gift-Giving brought joy and hope to the child beneficiaries. Each child received gift packages containing ๐ฌ๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฌ, ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ญ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฌ, ๐ก๐ฒ๐ ๐ข๐๐ง๐ ๐ค๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ฌ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ฉ๐๐๐ค๐ฌ, ๐ก๐๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐ก๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ง๐๐๐๐ฌ.
As part of the information campaign, participants attended orientations on Republic Act No. 11930 and Republic Act No. 9231, which strengthen the protection of children against exploitation and child labor.
To reinforce the shared commitment toward a Child Labor-Free Philippines, the activity also featured a Pledge of Commitment Signing, the Panatang Makabata, and the Batang Malaya Community Dance, symbolizing unity among stakeholders and beneficiaries in safeguarding children's rights and ensuring that every child enjoys a safe, healthy, and productive childhood.
Through strengthened partnerships and community engagement, DOLE XII-SKFO continues to champion initiatives that protect children, empower families, and advance the vision of a child labor-free society.
