11 March 2025, Cotabato City- The Higher Education in the Context of the Bangsamoro Organic Law (HECBOL), under the direction of ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐ง ๐‰. ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐จ ๐ƒ๐ž ๐•๐ž๐ซ๐š ๐ˆ๐ˆ๐ˆ, alongside ๐ƒ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐Œ๐š๐ฑ๐ข๐ฆ๐จ ๐‚. ๐€๐ฅ๐ฃ๐ข๐›๐ž and the HECBOL staff paid a courtesy visit to the office of the honorable ๐Œ๐๐‡๐“๐„ ๐Œ๐ข๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐Œ๐จ๐ก๐š๐ ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐Œ. ๐ˆ๐ช๐›๐š๐ฅ and ๐ƒ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐†๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข ๐Œ. ๐Œ๐š๐๐๐ข to engage in detailed discussions aimed at strengthening their collaboration. The conversation centered on aligning mutual goals and shared responsibilities in the proposed MOA Signing 2025.

Minister Iqbal emphasized that while the national government has separated the sub-sectors of education, BARMM has chosen to integrate them into a unified system. However, this structural difference does not hinder the potential of collaboration. Instead, it underscores the need for BARMM to engage in national agencies like CHED, whose expertise in higher education quality assurance remains invaluable.

Both parties were able to engage in productive discussion, reinforcing their commitment to collaboration and furthering their shared goals.
