Under the leadership of the BFP Caraga, Regional Director, FCSUPT HONEE FRITZ N ABANGAN - DIEL, DSC, with the supervision of the Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, FSINSP BOBBY U ARENA JR, Kitcharao Fire Station headed by the Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, FINSP ROY B HINAYAN, conducted the station's daily BLOWBAGETS inspection of the firetrucks and equipment, together with Good Housekeeping activities within the fire station premises, earlier this morning, September 07, 2026.

The daily inspection and maintenance ensure that the firetrucks, emergency equipment, and other essential resources remain serviceable, operational, and ready for immediate deployment whenever an emergency arises. Personnel also carried out cleaning and organization of the station to maintain a safe, orderly, and functional workplace.

A clean station, a ready truck, and well-maintained equipment — always ready to serve and protect!

EARLIER THIS MORNING || Under the leadership of the BFP Caraga, Regional Director, FCSUPT HONEE FRITZ N ABANGAN - DIEL, with the supervision of the Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, FSINSP BOBBY U ARENA JR, Kitcharao Fire Station headed by the Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, FINSP ROY B HINAYAN, actively participated in the traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at the Municipal Hall of Kitcharao. Regularly conducted at the start of every week, gathered employees from various local government offices, uniformed personnel, and stakeholders in a unified display of patriotism and public service commitment.

The activity aimed to promote awareness on fire prevention, safety, and preparedness, while encouraging establishment owners, employees, and community members to actively participate in maintaining a safe and secure environment.

The activity supports the 2026 National Crime Prevention Week theme:

“STRENGTHENING CIVILIAN OVERSIGHT AND COLLECTIVE ACTION FOR SAFER COMMUNITIES.”

KITCHARAO FIRE STATION JOINS LINGGO NG KABATAAN 2026 SYMPOSIUM

IN PHOTOS || Under the leadership of the BFP Caraga Regional Director, FCSUPT HONEE FRITZ N ABANGAN-DIEL, DSC, with the supervision of the Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, FSINSP BOBBY U ARENA JR, Kitcharao Fire Station headed by the Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, FINSP ROY B HINAYAN, actively participated as one of the resource speakers during the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 Symposium, held on September 5, 2026, at the Jaliobong Covered Court, Barangay Jaliobong, Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte.

With the theme “Kabataan 2026: Kumilos, Magkaisa, at Maglingkod,” the symposium provided an avenue for the youth to gain valuable knowledge, insights, and awareness on their important role in promoting peace, safety, discipline, responsibility, and active participation in the community.

As one of the resource speakers, personnel from the Kitcharao Fire Station shared essential information on fire safety, prevention, emergency preparedness, and the vital role of young people in creating safer and more resilient communities. The discussion emphasized that the youth can become effective partners in preventing incidents and responding responsibly during emergencies.

The activity was conducted in observance of the 2026 Crime Prevention Week, in collaboration with the Kitcharao Municipal Police Station, in coordination with the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Jaliobong and other law enforcement agencies and partner organizations.
