The Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) continues to issue formal notice letters to business establishments in Barangay Poblacion, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte that have not yet renewed their business permits for the current year.

Business owners are strongly encouraged to renew their permits immediately to avoid penalties, surcharges, and possible legal action in accordance with existing local ordinances. The BPLO remains committed to ensuring that all business establishments operate legally and in full compliance with municipal regulations.

Today, the Joint Inspection Team (JIT) conducted a joint inspection of pickleball court establishments to ensure compliance with existing laws, municipal ordinances, and other regulatory requirements.

During the inspection, operators were reminded to secure and maintain valid business permits and other necessary clearances. All pickleball court operators who have not yet renewed their business permits are strongly encouraged to process their renewal immediately to avoid penalties, surcharges, and possible closure of their establishments.

The Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) continues to promote business compliance and encourages all operators to fulfill their legal obligations within the prescribed period.

✔️ Non-resident of Kapatagan but a government employee currently assigned in Kapatagan
2️⃣ Skill Requirements:
✔️ Subject to skill leveling
✔️ No tennis background
✔️ Must NOT be a podium finisher in any pickleball tournament
3️⃣ Proof of Eligibility:
Participants must submit a valid Government ID, payslip, or payroll for verification.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has granted Institutional Recognition to the City College of Davao (CCD), Davao City, and Colegio de Kapatagan (CdeK), Lanao del Norte, affirming that both local colleges have met the institutional requirements set by the Commission for local colleges.

The recognition supports President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. 's priority of expanding access to quality education, while ensuring that institutions serving Filipino learners meet appropriate standards. The grant followed CHED’s evaluation of the compliance of both colleges with institutional requirements, including on-site validations covering among others, its mandate and purpose, governance, appropriateness of facilities, and sustainability of operations.

Through the institutional recognition of local universities and colleges, CHED continues to work with local governments to expand educational opportunities, respond to the needs of communities, and ensure that institutions meet national standards for quality and sustainability.

**𝙅𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢 (𝙅𝙄𝙏)**

Today, the Joint Inspection Team (JIT) conducted a comprehensive business compliance inspection of business establishments in Barangay POBLACION, Kapatagan, Lanao del Norte. The activity was carried out through the collaborative efforts of the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), Municipal Treasurer's Office (MTO), Municipal Economic Enterprise Development Office (MEEDO), Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

The inspection aimed to ensure that all business establishments are operating in full compliance with existing laws, municipal ordinances, and regulatory requirements. The team verified the validity of business permits, tax compliance, environmental regulations, zoning requirements, and fire safety standards while also assessing the overall operational compliance of each establishment.

Business owners and operators were provided with guidance regarding observed deficiencies and were advised to complete or renew the necessary permits and clearances within the prescribed period. These inspections not only promote compliance but also help strengthen public safety, environmental responsibility, and responsible business practices within the municipality.

The Joint Inspection Team sincerely thanks the Barangay Poblacion officials for their valuable assistance and cooperation throughout the activity. Their support contributed greatly to the smooth and successful conduct of the inspection.
