𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈: Kalilangan Celebrates Its 59th Araw with Festive Pride and Cultural Unity!

The 59th Araw ng Kalilangan was a vibrant celebration of the town’s cultural legacy and communal strength, held on June 18, 2025, with the theme: “𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗧 𝟱𝟵: 𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘 𝗦𝗔 𝗞𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗔, 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗛𝗜𝗨𝗦𝗔, 𝗨𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗨𝗔𝗡!”

From colorful street dances to meaningful ceremonies and exhibitions, the week-long festival showcased the deep-rooted pride and shared identity of the people of Kalilangan, Bukidnon. The event served as a moment of reflection and celebration—honoring indigenous roots and the values that continue to unite the community.

Meanwhile, Department of Tourism Region 10 Senior Tourism Operations Officer Beverly Tapongot served as one of the esteemed judges during the Kalilang Festival Dance Competition, contributing her insights to the vibrant cultural presentation.

We especially thank Vice Mayor Padsing for his guidance and support in all our endeavors, from the approval of resolutions and ordinances to the implementation of programs uplifting our Indigenous communities. Your dedication to service is truly commendable. While this marks the end of your term, your contributions will continue to benefit Kalilangan.

To Councilors Dator, Padsing, and Pendon, your genuine care and support for the Indigenous Peoples have been deeply appreciated. Your calm demeanor during sessions and your friendship made our work more manageable and rewarding. We look forward to future collaborations.

To the incoming and re-elected members of the Sangguniang Bayan, we extend our warmest welcome and look forward to working together to provide the best possible service to all Kalilanganons. Let us continue to collaborate for the betterment of our community.
