Agusipan can be found at the eastern part of this municipality, more or less it has 4.5 kilometers away from town proper. most of the people of barangay agusipan were Roman Catholic. Agusipan has a total of 231.828 hectares on agricultural land. Most of them were engaged in farming. If you're going to Barasngay Agusipan you can pass anywhere. you can pass to barangay agusipan or miraga guibuangan
, either you can pass via barangay tigtig. and if you are in municipality of leganes you can pass to barangay lapayon towards brgy. miraga guibuangan going to barangay agusipan, because the said barangay is already accessible to any vehicle, not like before, late 60's no roads, no electricity. but now, it is already easy to transport their products during harvest time and emergency cases. An as a background of where Barangay Agusipan got its name. Before, according to the eleders, this barangay, is part of Barangay Calaboa Oeste. But after a year later, it is make it to ARABAL or SITIO but no name yet. Agusipan got its name from the word UGASSIP. One day, there are two strangers passing to the said Sitio riding on thier horses and they passed at well. they saw a man taking a bath, before when the people take a bath, they used coconut oil for there hair not necessary for the hair but for all over the body. and the two strangers asked the man if what those white things around, because they taking a bath he make a coconut oil. UGASSIP. But the strangers are spaniard and they can't communicate what the man say he said AGUSIPAN from the word UGASSIP.
