The Largest Storm Ever Recorded on Earth Captured from Space

Astronauts aboard the International Space Station and satellites in orbit have captured breathtaking — and terrifying — images of what scientists are calling the largest storm system ever recorded on Earth.

The colossal cyclone, spanning thousands of kilometers across the planet’s atmosphere, was observed swirling with immense force, its vast eye stretching wider than most countries.

From space, the storm appears as a massive vortex of dark, churning clouds that dominate nearly an entire hemisphere. Meteorologists report that wind speeds within the storm exceed 400 km/h (250 mph) in some regions, dwarfing any hurricane or typhoon on record.

Sa Oct 2022 Published guidelines ng CSC alinsunod sa Republic Act (R.A.) No. 7160, dated October 10, 1991, o “Local Government Code of 1991”

BINIBIGYAN NG 1ST LEVEL ELIGIBILITY ANG MGA SUMUSUNOD NA BARANGAY OFFICIALS:

1. Elective Barangay Officials: Si Punong Barangay/Barangay Captain, regular Sangguniang Barangay Members, at Sangguniang Kabataan Chairmen;

2. Appointive Barangay Officials: Barangay Treasurers, and Barangay Secretaries who were appointed by the duly elected Punong Barangay.

Nakasaad din sa batas na kaylangan na tapos ang term of offices ng mga opisyal alinsunod sa tinakda ng 'existing law'

DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS

General Documentary Requirements

1. Properly accomplished Application Form (BOE Form 101-E Revised February 2017);

2. Three (3) pieces of identical I.D. pictures taken within the last three (3) months prior to filing of application with specifications,

3. Original and photocopy of valid IDs

4. Original and photocopy of Birth Certificate of the applicant authenticated/issued by the National Statistics Office (NSO);

5. For female married applicants, original and photocopy of Marriage Certificate authenticated/issued by the NSO;

6. Certification executed by the applicant that he/she has no pending administrative and/or criminal case before any court/authorized body, and that he/she has never been found guilty/convicted of any administrative offense and/or crime, using the prescribed CSC SPEL Form 1, April 2012;

SPECIFIC DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS:

1. Certification from authorized DILG official at the municipal, city, provincial, or regional level of the services rendered by the barangay official, using the prescribed forms, as follows:

CSC-ERPO BOE Form 1(a), June 2017 – for elective barangay officials; or

CSC-ERPO BOE Form 1(b), April 2012 – for appointive barangay officials;

2. Certification from the Barangay Chairman on the services rendered by the barangay official;

3. Duly signed oath-taking certificate or other proofs of having been duly elected or appointed, such as election returns and appointment paper;

4. Notarized Affidavit stating that the barangay official was not employed in the government during his/her term of office in the barangay (for elected barangay officials), or service requirement (for appointed barangay officials), and that he/she did not receive any form of salary/compensation, except honorarium for holding a position in an ex-officio capacity, during his/her term of office or service requirement;

5. For appointive barangay officials (Barangay Secretary & Barangay Treasurer) only, notarized Affidavit stating that the appointive barangay official is not related up to the 4th degree of consanguinity, or of affinity, to the appointing Punong Barangay;

6. Original/Authenticated and dry-sealed Master List of Elected/Appointed Barangay Officials issued by the DILG (agency to agency concern; to be submitted by DILG to CSC RO); and

7. Other documents as may be deemed necessary by the CSC RO in verifying authenticity of information supplied by the barangay official.

Sa amon mga pomuluyo ka barangay Ligtos, mag aligmat gid kita sa aton palibot kag kung may mga damages sa inyo mga pananum kag mga propidad palihog magreport gilayon sa inyo mga designated barangay kagawad para mareport gilayon aton banwa. Ang pagbaha indi gid naton mapunggan pero ang disgrasya aton malikawan kung kita ang nagahalong. Tanan kita may mahimo para makabulig bisan indi kita opisyal. Sa problema we need cooperation for the solution, not social media or social attention.

Following heavy rainfall earlier brought by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), flooding and landslides are possible in our municipality.
All Punong Barangays/BDRRMC Chairpersons are advised to enforce mandatory pre-emptive evacuation in high-risk areas.

For Communities Near Rivers, Creeks & Flood-Prone Areas:
•Stay alert for rising water levels
•Evacuate immediately if water continues to rise

For Communities Near Landslide-Prone Areas:
•Watch out for cracks, tilting trees, or rumbling sounds
•Be prepared to evacuate if needed

For Motorists & Commuters:
•Avoid flooded roads, especially near Sibalom and Aganan River
•Be alert for falling debris on steep or mountainous roads

General Safety Reminders:
•Prepare emergency kits
•Coordinate with your BDRRMC
•Stay updated and alert
•Be cautious and pray for safety
