Top 5 Provincial, Top 3 Municipal MWP ng Aklan, Arestado sa Quezon City

AKLAN – Naaresto ng mga awtoridad sa Quezon City ang isang lalaking kabilang sa Top 5 Most Wanted Persons (MWP) sa Provincial Level at Top 3 MWP sa Municipal Level ng Aklan sa isinagawang manhunt operation dakong alas-5:41 ng hapon noong Setyembre 3, 2026.

Kinilala ang akusado bilang si alyas “Mik,” 46-anyos, at residente ng Barangay Doña Imelda, Quezon City. Siya ay naaresto sa Unang Hakbang Street corner Luzon Avenue, Barangay San Isidro, Galas, Quezon City.

Isinagawa ang pag-aresto sa bisa ng Warrant of Arrest para sa paglabag sa Section 5, Article II ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Ang warrant ay inilabas noong Agosto 25, 2026 ng Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region, Branch 1, Kalibo, Aklan, na walang inirekomendang piyansa para sa pansamantalang paglaya ng akusado.

Pinangunahan ng 1st Aklan Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) ang operasyon, katuwang ang Regional Intelligence Unit 6 (RIU6) Provincial Intelligence Team-Aklan, Police Station 11–Galas Police Station, at Batan Municipal Police Station (MPS).

Matapos ang pag-aresto, dinala ang akusado sa Police Station 11–Galas Police Station para sa dokumentasyon at pansamantalang kustodiya bago ang kaukulang proseso para sa kanyang pagharap sa korte na may hurisdiksyon sa kaso.

Ayon kay Police Brigadier General Randulf T Tuaño, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6), ipinapakita ng matagumpay na operasyon ang halaga ng tuloy-tuloy na intelligence gathering at koordinasyon sa pagitan ng mga police units sa pagtugis sa mga wanted person.

“Hindi hadlang ang distansya sa pagpapatupad ng batas. Sa pamamagitan ng matibay na koordinasyon at intelligence-driven operations, patuloy nating matutunton ang mga wanted person saan man sila magtago at maihaharap sila sa hustisya. Walang ligtas na kanlungan para sa sinumang nagtatangkang umiwas sa pananagutan sa batas,” ani PBGen Tuaño.

Binigyang-diin din niya na patuloy na paiigtingin ng PRO6 ang mga operasyon laban sa mga wanted person upang makatulong sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at kaligtasan ng mga komunidad sa Western Visayas.

Ang accomplishment na ito ay bahagi ng patuloy na kampanya ng PRO6 laban sa mga wanted person, alinsunod sa RESPONSIVE, TRUSTED, and TRANSFORMATIVE POLICING for a Safer Western Visayas.

Kaakibat nito ang bisyon ng Philippine National Police na “BAGONG PNP PARA SA BAGONG PILIPINAS: SERBISYONG MABILIS, TAPAT, AT NARARAMDAMAN,” sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Police General Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr, Chief, PNP.

ILOILO CITY – Dalawampu’t isang wanted persons, kabilang ang dalawang Most Wanted Persons (MWPs), ang na aresto ng Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) sa sunod-sunod na manhunt operations sa buong Western Visayas sa loob lamang ng 24 oras, mula alas-6:00 ng umaga noong Setyembre 3 hanggang alas-5:59 ng umaga noong Setyembre 4, 2026.

Sa kabuuang bilang, dalawa ang Most Wanted Persons (MWPs), isa sa Provincial Level at isa sa Municipal Level, habang 19 naman ang Other Wanted Persons (OWPs).

Ang sunod-sunod na pagkakaaresto ay resulta ng patuloy na pagpapatupad ng mga warrant of arrest, mas pinaigting na intelligence gathering, at koordinasyon ng mga police units sa pagtugis sa mga indibidwal na may kinakaharap na kaso sa batas.

Binigyang-diin ni Police Brigadier General Randulf T Tuaño, Regional Director ng PRO6, na mananatiling tuloy-tuloy ang operasyon laban sa mga wanted persons sa rehiyon.

“Ang pagkakaaresto sa 21 wanted persons sa loob lamang ng 24 oras ay nagpapakita ng ating tuloy-tuloy at koordinadong pagtugis sa mga taong may pananagutan sa batas. Patuloy nating paiigtingin ang intelligence-driven manhunt operations upang maiharap sila sa hukuman at matiyak na naipatutupad ang hustisya,” pahayag ni PBGen Tuaño.

Pinasalamatan din ng Regional Director ang publiko sa patuloy na pakikipagtulungan at pagbibigay ng mahahalagang impormasyon sa mga awtoridad.

“Mahalaga ang suporta ng ating mga komunidad. Hinihikayat natin ang publiko na patuloy na magbigay ng impormasyon hinggil sa kinaroroonan ng mga wanted persons. Ang bawat impormasyong ibinabahagi ay malaking tulong sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at seguridad sa ating mga komunidad,” dagdag niya.

HVI At Live-In Partner Arestado; PhP816K Halaga Ng Hinihinalang Shabu Nasamsam Sa Iloilo City

ILOILO CITY — Arestado ang mag-live-in partner matapos makumpiska ang humigit-kumulang 120 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na may tinatayang Standard Drug Price na PhP816,000.00 sa isang buy-bust operation sa Barangay Tanza, City Proper, Iloilo City, dakong alas-8:26 ng gabi noong Setyembre 3, 2026.

Kinilala ang mga naarestong suspek na sina alyas “Noli,” 45 taong gulang, isang High-Value Individual (HVI), at alyas “Jen,” 44 taong gulang, na kapwa residente ng City Proper, Iloilo City.

Nakumpiska mula sa mga suspek ang isang sachet ng hinihinalang shabu na nagsilbing buy-bust item, anim na karagdagang sachet na naglalaman din ng hinihinalang shabu, at iba pang drug at non-drug items.

Pinangunahan ng Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit 6 (RPDEU 6) ang operasyon, katuwang ang Regional Intelligence Division 6 (RID 6), PDEG Special Operations Unit 6 (PDEG SOU 6), at Iloilo City Police Station 7 (ICPS 7), matapos ang halos isang buwang surveillance at monitoring sa umano’y ilegal na aktibidad ng mga suspek.

Ang mga naarestong indibidwal ay kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng pulisya at sasampahan ng kaukulang kaso sa paglabag sa Republic Act No. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Binigyang-diin ni Police Brigadier General Randulf T Tuaño, Regional Director ng PRO6, na mahalagang katuwang ng kapulisan ang komunidad sa pagpigil sa paglaganap ng ilegal na droga.

“Ang bawat impormasyong ibinabahagi ng ating mga kababayan ay mahalagang bahagi ng ating kampanya kontra ilegal na droga. Isang napapanahong report mula sa komunidad ay maaaring humantong sa matagumpay na operasyon, makapagligtas ng buhay, at makapigil sa pagkasira ng mga pamilya dahil sa droga,” pahayag ni PBGen Tuaño.

“Patuloy nating paiigtingin ang intelligence-driven operations laban sa mga indibidwal at grupong sangkot sa ilegal na droga. Ngunit higit nating mapapalakas ang kampanyang ito kung kasama natin ang mamamayan. Sama-sama nating protektahan ang ating mga kabataan, pamilya, at komunidad,” dagdag niya.

Muling hinikayat ng PRO6 ang publiko na patuloy na makipagtulungan sa kapulisan at agad na iulat ang anumang kahina-hinalang aktibidad na may kaugnayan sa ilegal na droga. Tinitiyak ng kapulisan ang maingat at kumpidensyal na paghawak sa mga impormasyong ibinabahagi ng publiko.

Sa pamamagitan ng intelligence-driven operations, mahigpit na koordinasyon, at aktibong pakikiisa ng komunidad, patuloy na isinusulong ng PRO6 ang RESPONSIVE, TRUSTED, AND TRANSFORMATIVE POLICING para sa mas ligtas, mapayapa, at drug-free na Western Visayas alinsunod sa bisyon ng PNP na "BAGONG PNP PARA SA BAGONG PILIPINAS, SERBISYONG MABILIS, TAPAT, AT NARARAMDAMAN."

Palibot ko Bantayan Ko Symposium

LOOK: The Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO), under the leadership of PCOL FERDINAND N NAVALES, Provincial Director, together with the Chief, PCADU and PCADU personnel, and personnel of the San Lorenzo Municipal Police Station, conducted a “Palibot Ko, Bantayan Ko” Symposium at Barangay Sapal, San Lorenzo, Guimaras on September 4, 2026.

The activity was attended by forty (40) participants, composed of residents, barangay officials, 4Ps members, and representatives from the women's sector.

During the symposium, the following topics were discussed: Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 — discussed by PEMS Marivic T Japitana; Republic Act No. 10591 or the Comprehensive Law on Fi****ms and Am******on, particularly on the illegal possession of fi****ms — discussed by PCpl Rodney Mistas; and “ARMAS BAYLO BUGAS”, encouraging the voluntary surrender of loose fi****ms.

Moreover, PCADU personnel distributed thirty (30) flyers containing relevant information on R.A. No. 9165 and R.A. No. 9262 to the participants.

An open forum followed, during which participants actively engaged in the discussion by raising questions and sharing their insights regarding the topics presented. The activity emphasized the vital role of community participation in maintaining peace and order, promoting a drug-free community, preventing violence against women and children, and encouraging compliance with existing laws and local ordinances. The symposium likewise strengthened the partnership between the Philippine National Police and the community by empowering residents through legal awareness, encouraging responsible citizenship, and fostering a shared commitment to crime prevention and public safety.

Community Service-Oriented Policing (CSOP) in Line with the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week

LOOK: The Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO) conducted a Community Service Oriented Policing (CSOP) activity in line with the celebration of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week at the Covered Gym of Brgy. Cabano, San Lorenzo, Guimaras on September 3, 2026.

The activity was attended by PCOL FERDINAND N NAVALES, Provincial Director; Atty. Giovanni L. Pamonag, Provincial Officer, NAPOLCOM 6; personnel of the Regional Medical and Dental Unit 6, headed by PMAJ FAITH G TABUGO; Hon. Evelina T. Salcedo, Liga President, San Lorenzo; PCADU personnel; personnel of San Lorenzo MPS; representatives from partner agencies; Hon. Macario V. Escarpe Jr., Punong Barangay of Barangay Cabano; and constituents from the twelve (12) barangays of San Lorenzo, Guimaras.

The activity commenced with the welcome remarks of Hon. Macario V. Escarpe Jr., Punong Barangay of Barangay Cabano. Thereafter, PLTCOL RENANTE D MATILLANO, Chief, PCADU, emphasized the importance of Community Service-Oriented Policing (CSOP) in strengthening police-community relations and bringing government services closer to the community.

In his message, PCOL FERDINAND N NAVALES, Provincial Director, GPPO, reaffirmed the GPPO’s commitment to supporting accessible and responsive government services, particularly in far-flung communities. Meanwhile, Atty. Giovanni L. Pamonag, Provincial Officer, NAPOLCOM 6, commended the GPPO for spearheading the activity and emphasized the importance of CSOP and inter-agency collaboration in promoting crime prevention and community partnership.

Partner agencies, namely SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG Fund, PSA, PCSO, DENR, LTO, GSAC, and RMDU-6, provided various government services to the community. A total of two hundred (200) participants from the twelve (12) barangays of San Lorenzo, Guimaras, availed themselves of the services, further strengthening inter-agency collaboration and police-community partnership.

The activity was in line with the Kabataan Una program of the Provincial Government of Guimaras. The Activity aimed to educate students on child protection laws, crime prevention and reduction, and the dangers of illegal drugs.

Moreover, PCADU personnel distributed 200 pcs of flyers on Unified 911 Emergency Hotline Number, Anti-Bullying and Anti-Minor on Wheels to the participants.

GPPO CONDUCTS SPIRITUAL ENHANCEMENT AND SQUAD WEEKLY INTERACTIVE MEETING

LOOK: The Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO) conducted a Spiritual Enhancement activity led by Pastor Cesar Moleño, Life Coach at GPPO Covered Gym, Camp Mosqueda, Brgy. Alaguisoc, Jordan, Guimaras.

The activity aimed to strengthen the spiritual well-being, values, and resilience of police personnel and provided an opportunity for personnel to reflect on their faith, purpose, and commitment to service, while emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive outlook and strong moral foundation in fulfilling their duties as public servants.

Following the spiritual enhancement, personnel also participated in the Squad Weekly Interactive Meeting (SWIM) facilitated by their respective Life Coaches. The session served as a venue for open communication, reflection, and fellowship among personnel, allowing them to share experiences, concerns, and insights in a supportive environment. Through these activities, GPPO continues to promote the holistic well-being of its personnel and strengthen camaraderie, morale, and teamwork toward the effective delivery of quality police service to the people of Guimaras.

NAPOLCOM 6 Conducts 2026 Annual Inspection at Guimaras Police Provincial Office

LOOK: The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Regional Office 6 conducted its Annual Inspection for Calendar Year 2026 on September 3, 2026, at the Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO) Covered Gym, Camp Mosqueda, Brgy. Alaguisoc, Jordan, Guimaras.

The inspection was participated by personnel of the GPPO Provincial Headquarters and Guimaras Provincial Mobile Force Platoon (GPMFP), headed by PCOL FERDINAND N NAVALES, Provincial Director, and the NAPOLCOM Regional Office 6 Inspection Team headed by NAPOLEON R. AROSTIQUE, JR., Police Inspector IV, Regional Investigation Unit.

The Inspection Team conducted the inspection, assessing personnel, records, documents, facilities, equipment, and other areas covered by the annual inspection. GPPO personnel extended their full cooperation and assistance throughout the activity.

Following the inspection, a Focused Group Discussion (FGD) was conducted between the Inspection Team and concerned officers and personnel to discuss observations, concerns, and issues noted during the inspection, clarify procedures, and identify recommendations for further improvement. The activity provided an avenue for open exchange of insights and experiences, reinforcing the commitment of the Guimaras Police Provincial Office to strengthen compliance, accountability, professionalism, and the effective delivery of police services to the community.
