The Eagle Scouts Organization of the Philippines - Iloilo Chapter was awarded with a Certificate of Appreciation for the invaluable support to the programs of the BSP Iloilo (Confesor) Council. This award is an embodiment of the unending support and commitment of the ESOP-Iloilo to the scouting community of our local council.

The ESOP-Iloilo also received the certificate of the 1st ESOP National President’s Award that was awarded by the National Chapter of the Eagle Scouts Organization of the Philippines. The award recognizes the chapter’s transformative impact through pioneering community service and strategic organization growth.

With honors from both the BSP Iloilo (Confesor) Council and the ESOP National Chapter, ESOP-Iloilo continues to prove that service to Scouting and the community never stops.

On May 7, 2026, history was made at the New Iloilo City Hall as the Bugal sang Confesor held its final interviews. As the pioneer batch of this prestigious search, these applicants faced a rigorous test of their leadership, history, and community service. Every decision made and every story shared highlighted a deep-seated commitment to excellence, proving that this inaugural group is truly cut from a different cloth.

Every applicant showcased a unique story of service, proving that they are all deserving of being called the Bugal sang Confesor. As the interviews concluded, it was clear that the future of Iloilo’s leadership remains in capable, character-driven hands.

They will now advance to the Interview Stage this May 7–8, where their journey reaches its most defining and high-stakes chapter yet!

To every Scout who stood in the arena during the pitching phase, your passion has been nothing short of electrifying. While only a few move forward to this next stage, the boldness you displayed has ignited a spark that will surely leave a lasting mark on the scouting movement.
