In line with this year's theme, "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan ating pangalagaan!" which highlights the critical link between environmental protection, climate action, and sustainable food security, the Local Government Unit of Santiago headed by Mayor Josefino Miranda, 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢 𝘵𝘰𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘧 470 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘶𝘯 𝘙𝘶𝘯 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘊𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 52𝘯𝘥 𝘕𝘶𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.

Part 3: 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴-𝗱𝗮𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶!

Matapos ang Fun Run nagkaroon ng maikling programa na ginanap sa Sports Complex ng Local Government Unit of Santiago dito ay ibinahagi ang total ng nalikom na pondo at kung saan ito ibinili.

Agad ding ibinigay ang mga tray ng itlog, iba't ibang klase ng gulay at prutas sa mga batang benipisiyaryo. Nagbigay din ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Santiago ng 10kg na bigas. Pinangunahan ni Mayor Josefino Miranda ang pagbabahagi nito kasama sina Vice Mayor Michael Miranda na nagbigay din ng suportang pinansiyal, Ma'am May Belardo ng DOH, SBM Helen Cruzado at Dr. Vida Berto.

Nais naming muling pasalamatan ang lahat ng lumahok sa hangaring ito. Dahil sa inyo naging matagumpay at makabuluhan ang pagdiriwang ng buwan ng nutrisyon ngayong taon.

Part 2: 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗼'𝘀 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝟱𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵!

This year's celebration is unique and remarkable!

For the first time, we had a chance to create a program where people can share a little yet when added together creates a big amount.

𝗣𝟴𝟲,𝟱𝟴𝟬 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘥 to purchase trays of eggs, vegetables and fruits of many kinds for our children needing of extra care and support.

In his nutrition message, 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 expressed his overwhelming joy for the unexpected number of people who have joined the cause, truly bayanihan and unity spirit is still alive in Santiago. 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼, 𝗗𝗠𝗢 𝗜𝗩 of the DOH expressed her appreciation for the turnout of the event & assured the continuous support of the DOH. SB Chair on health, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝘂𝘇𝗮𝗱𝗼 & 𝗗𝗿. 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 delivered also their message, reminding the community to act as good stewards of the gift of a healthy life.

Participants & beneficiaries also gained knowledge and understanding about 8 pillars of health shared by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗲-𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘇 which they can use as a guide towards healthy and fit body!

481 joined the 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙗𝙤 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣, 𝙃𝙖𝙠𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙠𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣 𝙁𝙪𝙣 𝙍𝙪𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝘾𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚, one of the activity of the Local Government of Santiago headed by Hon. Josefino Miranda, for this year's Nutrition Month Celebration!

This fund raising activity aims to gather different organizations, private & public sectors and individuals to promote nutrition & support our malnourished children in the municipality. In connection to the rising of Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) globally driven primarily by cardiovascular diseases, cancers, chronic respiratory diseases, and diabetes, the activity also promotes physical activity among young people , middle aged group and senior citizen as a healthy habit to prevent such illnesses!

It's a joy to see everyone coming, running not just for their own benefit but mainly for the good of those in need.
