𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗦' 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 & 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Basug National High School welcomed the new academic year with a comprehensive Learners' Orientation, followed by the highly anticipated Organization of School Clubs. The event was designed to equip students with the essential guidelines, health information, and support systems necessary for a safe and successful academic journey.

Throughout the program, speakers took the stage to guide the learners through the following key areas:

📌 Orientation Proper: Led by Mr. Fransisco Arceo, Jr., Faculty President, who set the goals, expectations, and tone for a fantastic academic year.

📜 School Policies & Regulations: Presented by Mr. Myron Alvaro, SSLG Adviser, highlighting the rules that keep the campus a safe, respectful, and orderly environment for everyone.

🤝 Guidance & Counseling Services: Discussed by Mrs. Catherine Cuaresma, School Guidance Coordinator, reminding students that the school's support systems are always available for their mental health and personal development.

🚨 Guidance on Learning Continuity in Emergencies: Facilitated by Mr. Ernie Baterina, SDRRM Coordinator, equipping the school community with the knowledge to maintain learning progress despite unforeseen challenges or emergencies.

💧 Implementation of WASH & WINS: Shared by Ms. Pauline Ross Criste, Wash & Win Focal Person, who emphasized the importance of health, hygiene, and wellness through the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene in Schools program.

🩺 Child & Adolescent Reproductive Health and Peer Health Navigation: Tackled by Mrs.Jireh Hannah Taiza, ARH Coordinator, empowering the youth with accurate information and peer support to make healthy, informed lifestyle choices.

Organization of School Clubs
To conclude the productive program, the learners enthusiastically participated in the organization and registration of school clubs. Recognizing that extracurricular activities are a vital part of student life, this segment allowed the students to explore their passions, develop leadership skills, and find their respective communities on campus.

The administration and faculty headed by Mr. Reynario Viloria, Principal II wish all the learners a productive, engaging, and memorable school year ahead!

⚔️ 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗴: 𝗔𝗻 𝗘𝗽𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 🎒

𝗕𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗴 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 grounds was transformed into the Land of Ooo for an absolutely epic First Day of School! It was an incredible way to kick off the new academic year.

Principal II, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗧. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮, officially welcomed the learners with a powerful and inspiring message. He challenged every student to give their absolute best and study hard, sharing a great reminder: "𝗔𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹, 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹."

The morning was packed with great moments, from the flag ceremony to 𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗰𝗼 introducing the school's faculty.

The real adventure kicked in during the Interactive Game! A huge shoutout goes to all the learners who explored the campus, bravely took on the challenges from the SSLG's Nightosphere Station Masters, and hunted down the hidden origami of Lumpy Space Stars, Gunters, and Jakes.

Students who successfully gathered the origami pieces were able to exchange them for small prizes at the main booth. To make the morning even more exciting, a special prize was awarded to the top three learners who collected the highest number of origami during the hunt!

Congratulations to everyone who participated, smiled for the picture-taking, and made the morning so memorable.

Today, June 4, 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government of Basug National High School successfully conducted its Annual Strategic Planning Session for School Year 2026–2027.

This meaningful activity served as a platform for SSLG officers to collaboratively formulate plans, develop initiatives, and design programs, projects, and activities that will address the needs and interests of the student body throughout the school year.

Guided by the spirit of service, leadership, and innovation, the officers engaged in productive discussions and strategic decision-making to ensure that every activity aligns with the vision of creating a more active, inclusive, and student-centered school community.

As we embark on a new academic year, the SSLG remains committed to turning plans into action and ideas into impactful programs that will benefit every learner of Basug National High School.

On June 4, 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Basug National High School will conduct its Annual Strategic Planning Session for School Year 2026–2027.

This activity aims to gather SSLG officers in a collaborative planning process to develop programs, projects, initiatives, and events that will guide the organization throughout the academic year. Through meaningful discussions and strategic decision-making, the officers will identify priorities and create plans that will promote student welfare, leadership development, and active participation within the school community.

As the SSLG prepares for another year of service, this planning session marks the beginning of a journey dedicated to purposeful leadership, innovation, and commitment to every learner of Basug National High School.

For the third consecutive day, SSLG Officers continued to assist in the enrollment process, manage the water stations, and provide free palamig to students, parents, and volunteers. Through these simple yet meaningful acts of service, we aim to make the enrollment experience more organized, comfortable, and welcoming for everyone.

As Brigada Eskwela 2026 progresses, the SSLG remains committed to fostering a culture of volunteerism, leadership, and genuine service for the benefit of every BNHS learner.

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Basug National High School continues its commitment to service through the second day of Project Salubong 2026.

Once again, SSLG Officers actively assisted in the enrollment process, managed the water stations to keep students, parents, and volunteers hydrated, and distributed free palamig to provide comfort amidst the day’s activities. Through teamwork and dedication, we strive to create a welcoming and positive experience for every learner entering our school.

As Brigada Eskwela 2026 continues, the SSLG remains steadfast in its mission to serve, lead, and make every student feel at home at BNHS.
