IN PHOTOS: The Coast Guard Sub-Station Candon (CGSS CANDON) headed by ENS DARYL JAY G TILLAY PCG has activated its Deployable Response Groups (DRG) in preparation of the possible effect of Tropical Storm “Leon” within Area of Responsibilities.

In addition, all necessary rescue equipment's and floating assets are fully functional and prepared for use in an emergency. This is to guarantee protection and safety within area of responsibilities.

LOOK : On 14 March 2023, personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station Candon participated in a 1st Quarter Blood-Letting Activity conducted by City Government of Candon and the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center (ITRMC) with the theme "I D❤️nate I Sa❤️e Lives" held at City Hall Covered Court, City of Candon, Province of Ilocos Sur.

Said activity is part of the LGU's Mobile Blood Program which aims to accumulate additional supplies of blood which are very essential in an emergency situation.

Guitba, Student Internship Program Coordinator held at ISPSC Building, Brgy San Nicolas, Candon City, Ilocos Sur.

LOOK: On 06 March 2023, personnel of Coast Guard Sub-Station Candon led by Sub-Station Commander CG PO2 Jan Michael A Delos Santos together with Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) 702nd Squadron - Candon paid courtesy call to Hon. Eric D. Singson, City Mayor of Candon City, Ilocos Sur.

The Honorable Mayor has expressed his appreciation to the Philippine Coast Guard for its support and delivery of its essential services in the City of Candon during disaster response. Both have discussed the proposed Radar Station Candon to promote the safety of life and navigation at sea.

This year's observance of the fire prevention month is guided by the theme: "Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa!"

Altizen, Budget Officer, Marie Noel O. Bargas, Municipal Treasurer and Ginalyn B. Sanguyen, Municipal Accountant and jointly discussed on how they would be able to extend various Coast Guard mandates and to establish Coast Guard facility in the Municipality of Sta Lucia, Ilocos Sur.
