ILIGAN CITY β A High-Value Individual (HVI) involved in illegal drug activities was arrested during a successful anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) of the Iligan City Police Office (ICPO) under the leadership of PCOL MARIO M BAQUIRAN, JR, Officer In-Charge on the evening of June 4, 2026, in Purok 4, Barangay Saray, Iligan City.
The arrested suspect male, 46 years old, single, jobless, and a resident of Barangay Saray, Iligan City. The operation was jointly conducted by personnel of CDEU-ICPO under the supervision of PCOL Mario M. Baquiran, Jr., Officer In-Charge, in coordination with PDEA-10 Lanao del Norte Provincial Office, Iligan City Mobile Force Company, Iligan City Maritime Group, and intelligence operatives of ICPS 5. The buy-bust operation was carried out pursuant to PDEA Pre-Operation Number 11-00-06042026-002 and TIP A-202606-14-PRO10-ICPO-CDEU.
Seized during the operation were three (3) large heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets and five (5) small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substances believed to be shabu, along with marked buy-bust money amounting to Three Hundred Pesos (Php 300.00).
The confiscated illegal drugs weighed approximately 80 grams with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php 544,000.00.
The suspect is currently under police custody for proper disposition and the filing of appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
