𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: 𝗢𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁

Last September 3, 2026, an ocular inspection was conducted at the Bay Vista Tenement Housing Project in Sitio Paitan, Barangay Dalipuga, Iligan City, accompanied by the Housing Board Committee and Chief-of-Staff Jules Verne Padilla. The inspection forms part of the ongoing assessment by concerned city officials, including auditors, regarding reported concerns surrounding the project.

The project, funded by the City Government of Iligan with ₱29 million, consists of 28 housing units intended for low-income families and minimum wage earners. Once completed, the units are set to be turned over through the Pag-IBIG 4PH or Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗫 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗩𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗻𝘀

On September 10, 2026, LGU Veterinary Surgeons from Region X, together with City Veterinary Office Head Oz Mae Salinas, DVM, paid a courtesy call to the City Mayor’s Office as part of their visit to Iligan City.

The visit comes alongside the Diyandi Festival and the observance of World Rabies Day, with the City Veterinary Office conducting a mass spay activity on September 9–10 as part of its continuing efforts to promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.

Through initiatives such as these, the City Government of Iligan continues to support a safer, healthier, and more responsible community for both Iliganons and their companion animals.

Usa kini ka importante nga ritwal nga nagsimbolo sa pagduol sa atong Patron ngadto sa iyang katawhan ug sa presensya sa Diyos taliwala kanato.

Kini usa ka panahon sa pag-ampo, pagpasalamat, ug pag-andam alang sa atong kapistahan. Ug sama sa espiritu sa Diyandi, atong gisaulog ang atong pagtuo, kultura, tradisyon, panaghiusa, ug pagka-Iliganon.

Gi-awhag ni Rev. Msgr. Alberto C. De Lara, Parish Rector sa St. Michael’s the Archangel Cathedral Parish, ang mga Iliganon nga makig-uban ug makiisa sa Pagpakanaog ni Sr. San Miguel karong September 20.

Last September 1, 2026, Iligan City Central School welcomes the new, proud set of appointed SPTA officers. Initiated by Pastor Jeffrey Alivio (current SPTA president), and visited by the dear Chief of Staff, Vernie Jules Padilla, upon welcoming the attendance of parents, teachers, and students, the SPTA will build a bridging rapport and clear gaps to better the community of the school system and, most importantly, help our ICCS students on improving their learning environment and welfare.

“It takes a village to raise a child.”

Sir Jeffrey’s memorable quote from Ms. Anne. He believed that the students of ICCS are bright and promising, as Sir Verne Padilla supportively commended, because the teachers are competent and dedicated towards keeping the institution a better place for our children, with the expectations that our fellow teachers and parents work together for the betterment of our school community.

This is a promising event for students, as Iligan City Central School remains the oldest institution (over 80 years old) in Iligan City and the school has proudly come a long way in building newer projects, enhancing the education and guidance of our students.
