We believe that this is the best system for the Philippines for our Filipino core values, beliefs, cultures and aspirations are not contrary to the universally accepted democratic beliefs, principles and aspirations. We are calling for a new peaceful revolution, a new movement and new spring of Filipino awakening especially from the young people, the successor generation, in order to liberate the
entire Filipino people from graft and corruption. As Asia's first independent democratic State, we remain poor and fragmented because of bad governance and lack of transparency. We are a country which is predominantly Christian but with institutions which structures are promoting and sustaining corruption, thus our rank as the most corrupt country in the region. Our society is dominated with the powerful few controlling our political and economic systems since the time the Spaniards came to the Philippines more than 500 years ago hence our national problems are repeating or recurring. This page of young Democrats in the country seeks to articulate to the Filipino nation all over the world of a vision of a Philippines true to its Democratic ideals and relevant in liberating the Filipinos from hardening poverty and a government truly for, by and of the people and a society that is free. A Filipino nation in solidarity with one another that believes on the importance of family, of the benevolence of an Almighty God and with a society that provides prosperity to all as everyone participates in its creation, growth and preservation.
