𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀:

Filing a Complaint: Complaints against prosecutors must be written, sworn, and backed by verifiable facts or documentary evidence. Anonymous complaints will only be acted upon if they contain verifiable leads to initiate a fact-finding investigation.

Strict Timelines for Respondents: Once a formal complaint is evaluated and deemed sufficient, the respondent prosecutor is given a strict 15-day window to submit a verified answer.

Preventive Suspension: For severe offenses involving dishonesty, oppression, or grave misconduct where the respondent could exert undue influence, the PIO can issue a preventive suspension for up to 90 days without pay.

Hearings & Appeals: Formal hearings are mandatory if the offense carries the penalty of dismissal from service. Either party adversely affected by a final resolution may file a single Motion for Reconsideration within 15 days of receipt.

The DOJ remains committed to accountability and a swift, fair administration of justice.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼:
Complainants are required to submit either a Compliance (if a supervening event like a settlement, withdrawal, or the respondent's death has made the case moot) or a Manifestation (stating your intent to proceed with the case on its merits).

𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴:
Do not ignore the deadlines! Failure to file your Compliance or Manifestation after receiving the PIO's notices will be construed as a lack of interest and will result in the dismissal of your administrative complaint without prejudice.

Led by the dedicated prosecutors and staff of OPP-LDN marched alongside various government agencies, local government units, and civil society groups to honor the rich history, vibrant culture, and remarkable progress of our beloved province.

Beyond our daily duties as vanguards of justice, our active presence in this historic celebration underscores OPP-LDN’s deep-rooted commitment to being one with the community we serve.

Following the historic groundbreaking ceremony in Tubod, the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor (OPP) of Lanao del Norte proudly spearheaded a dynamic fellowship dinner in honor of Department of Justice Secretary Hon. Fredderick Vida and Undersecretary Hon. Garney M. Candelaria at The Spectrum Hotel and Restaurant in Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte.

July 3, 2026, marked a momentous milestone for the administration of justice in our province. The Office of the Provincial Prosecutor (OPP) of Lanao del Norte, alongside prosecutors from Region X, proudly welcomed and received Department of Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida upon his arrival in the province.

The welcoming delegation was spearheaded by the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor (OPP) of Lanao del Norte through the leadership of Provincial Prosecutor Nur Jaypha R. Bacaraman-Asum and the Regional Prosecutor Merlynn Barola-Uy and other prosecutors of OPP-LDN and Region X.

Following his arrival, the team proceeded to the municipality of Tubod for the official Groundbreaking Ceremony of the new DOJ Facility. This state-of-the-art infrastructure represents a significant leap forward in our shared mission to deliver swift, fair, and accessible justice to all the citizens of Lanao Del Norte.

As your vanguard of justice in the province, the OPP Lanao del Norte extends its deepest gratitude to Secretary Vida and Regional Prosecutor Barola-Uy and of course to the leaders of the Province of Lanao Del Norte, Gov. July 3, 2026, marked a momentous milestone for the administration of justice in our province. The Office of the Provincial Prosecutor (OPP) of Lanao del Norte, alongside prosecutors from Region X, proudly welcomed and received Department of Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida upon his arrival in the province.

The welcoming delegation was spearheaded by the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor (OPP) of Lanao del Norte through the leadership of Provincial Prosecutor Nur Jaypha R. Bacaraman-Asum and the Regional Prosecutor Merlynn Barola-Uy and other prosecutors of OPP-LDN and Region X.

Following his arrival, the team proceeded to the municipality of Tubod for the official Groundbreaking Ceremony of the new DOJ Facility. This state-of-the-art infrastructure represents a significant leap forward in our shared mission to deliver swift, fair, and accessible justice to all the citizens of Lanao Del Norte.

As your vanguard of justice in the province, the OPP Lanao del Norte extends its deepest gratitude to Secretary Vida and Regional Prosecutor Barola-Uy and of course to the leaders of the Province of Lanao Del Norte, Gov. Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo, Cong. Aminah Dimaporo-Dimaporo and Cong. Imelda "Angging" dela Cruz Quibranza-Dimaporo for their unwavering support and commitment to upgrading our capabilities and better serving the public.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿 – 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲 proudly participated in the recognition and celebration of 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

In line with this year's theme, "𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿," we stand in solidarity with refugees and displaced persons around the world, recognizing their resilience, courage, and unwavering hope in the face of adversity. 🕊️

This observance reminds us that creating lasting solutions requires collective action, compassion, and a shared commitment to restoring dignity and opportunities for those forced to flee their homes.
