As part of the celebration of the Mammangi Festival, the City of Ilagan successfully conducted its 1st Stone Art Competition today at the City Hall. The event gathered talented students from different schools who showcased their creativity through artworks inspired by the AuthentiCity of Ilagan.
The Board of Judges was chaired by former Mayor, now Sectoral Representative for Women, Hon. Evelyn C. Diaz, together with Chairperson on Tourism Hon. Perlita G. Gaoiran, and Mr. Sandy Manaligod, an artist from SINaG.
The activity was facilitated by the City Tourism Office headed by Maria Cristina R Simon, City Tourism Officer, highlighting the artistic talents of the youth while promoting the rich culture, identity, and authenticity of Ilagan.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to Mayor Josemarie L. Diaz, Vice Mayor Jayve Diaz, Former Mayor Ma’am Mudz Diaz, all members of the City Council, for their unwavering support in making this meaningful activity a reality.
