AUDITION MECHANICS:
1. This competition is open to all male and female singers.
2. Open to ages 15-45 years old.
3. FOR FACE-TO-FACE AUDITION
► The auditionee should sing one (1) full length minus one song (English/Tagalog) during audition on July 11, 2024 at exactly 10:00 AM in Dugmanon Barangay Hall.
4. FOR ONLINE AUDITION
► The auditionee should RECORD/FILM himself/herself while singing his/her chosen song.
► Self-introduction (Name, Age and Address) should be included at the beginning of the video.
► Maximum duration of the video is four (4) minutes only.

5. Only ten (10) auditionees chosen by the Clash Panels will proceed to the GRAND FINALS on JULY 16, 2024 at exactly 6:00 PM in Barangay Dugmanon Gymnasium.

THE CLASH Season 2 GRAND FINALS (July 16, 2024 @ 5:00PM)
COMPETITION MECHANICS
ROUND ONE: THE ONE-ON-ONE CLASH
1. Only 10 contestants shall be admitted to the competition after a series of auditions. They shall be called THE CLASHERS.
2. The ten (10) clashers will be paired off into five (5) who will do a one-on-one clash. The pairing shall be done through an electronic randomizer and shall have no human intervention.
3. Each pairing shall only have ONE (1) winner. In no way shall there be an announcement of a TIE in this round. Five (5) winners in the ONE-ON-ONE CLASH will advance to ROUND 2.
4. A wild card shall be chosen from the 5 contestants who failed to win in the ONE-ON-ONE CLASH. Therefore, a total of six (6) contestants shall advance to Round 2. The Judges will pick the wild card entry. The decision shall be final and unappealable.
ROUND 2: THE JUDGE’S SONG CHOICE ROUND
1. In this Round, the Top 5 performers and 1 wild card will be chosen to battle it out to earn a spot in the 3rd and final round. The wild card is a collective pick of the judges and is given a 2nd chance to continue his/her fight for the title.
2. Round 2 of the competition will be called the “JUDGE’S SONG CHOICE ROUND”. In this round, contestants are not allowed to perform a song of their own choice. Rather TEN (10) songs will be pre-selected by the judges and each contestant will be assigned a song according to the prerogative of the judges. A contestant cannot appeal the decision of the judge as to the song assigned to him or her.
3. All contestants will be provided with the list of the 10 songs to be performed in this round, one (1) WEEK before the competition. Meaning they will have ONE WHOLE WEEK to prepare for this round. HOWEVER, a top 6 qualifier will only know which song will be assigned to him or her during his / her turn to perform on stage. A judge will inform the performer which song to sing.
4. All contestants shall provide IN ADVANCE (Not more that 2 days before the contest) the organizers with the YOUTUBE URL / LINK of the karaoke or YOUTUBE karaoke accompaniment he /she would like to use for the 6 songs.
5. The contestants shall send the YOUTUBE URL / LINK of the karaoke or YOUTUBE karaoke accompaniment to the FB Page: Dugmanon Hinatuan SDS via messenger.
ROUND 3 / FINAL ROUND
ISA LABAN SA LAHAT: THE ULTIMATE CLASH
1. From the Top 6, the three best performers will be declared to compete in the final stage of the competition dubbed as the “ISA LABAN SA LAHAT: THE ULTIMATE CLASH”. They shall be called the three final clashers.
2. All scores of the 3 final clashers from the previous rounds will be discarded. Meaning they will be placed on equal footing. The over-all quality of the Finalists’ performance will determine the placements of the contenders as 3rd Place, 2nd Place and 1st Place or ‘THE ULTIMATE CLASHER’.
3. The decision of the of the judges is final and unappealable.
Criteria for Judging:
1. Voice Quality (Tonality, Rhythm, Tempo, Pitch, and Technique) 50%
2. Style and Performance 30%
(Appropriateness to Genre, Entertainment Quality,
Timing and Precision, Originality, Delivery and Interpretation,
Appropriateness of Staging of Song Selected)
3. Overall Appeal (Stage Appeal, Audience Impact, Star Quality) 20%
