A joyful and inspiring milestone unfolded during the Joint Moving-Up Ceremony of the Child Development Centers from Tidman 1, Tidman 2, Tidman 3, Mawis, Bigaan, Bingcongan, Loyola, Viola, Mongcag, Tarusan, Tagasaka, Kapilayan, Quarry, Maligaya, and Roxas, held on March 27, 2026, at the Municipal Gymnasium. Guided by the theme “Munting Hakbang Tungo sa Maunlad na Kinabukasan,” the event celebrated the success of 202 young learners who completed the Pre-Kindergarten 1 and 2 of the ECCD Program, surrounded by their proud parents and guardians.
The ceremony was highlighted by the heartfelt message of Guest Speaker, Mrs. Gladelyn O. Cacho-Lampad, LPT—once a learner of Mongcag CDC—whose journey from a simple child with big dreams to a professional teacher served as a powerful reminder that perseverance can turn aspirations into reality. She shared how she held on to her dreams despite doubts and discouragement, proving that no child’s potential should ever be underestimated.
Present during the occasion was Municipal Mayor Atty. Tito A. Cañedo III, who warmly expressed his unwavering support for early childhood development initiatives, underscoring the importance of investing in young children as the foundation of a stronger and more progressive community. He was joined by the dedicated Punong Barangays and Committee Chairs on Social Services and Education, whose presence reflected a shared commitment to nurturing and empowering the community’s youngest learners. Meanwhile, MSWD Officer Mrs. Sunrise B. Tumanda reaffirmed that the MSWDO and LGU Hinatuan continue to stand as steadfast partners of Child Development Workers, providing continuous guidance, technical assistance, and genuine support—reminding everyone that it truly takes a united and caring community to help every child grow, dream, and succeed.
This meaningful celebration was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the MSWDO staff, led by ECCD Focal Ms. Noemi C. Sangkaan, RSW, SFP Focal Ms. Kimberly Jean M. Verdeflor, and the dedicated Child Development Workers, whose passion continues to shape young minds and futures.
Truly, this event is more than a recognition of achievements—it is a celebration of dreams in the making. Sa matag gamay nga lakang, adunay dakong kaugmaon nga ginahimo. Padayon sa pagdamgo, mga bata—kay kamo ang paglaum ug kahayag sa atong umaabot.
