Day 02 | Unforgettable Nights and Incredible Talent.

The SK Youth Camp wouldn't have been nearly as alive without the courage, talent, and energy of every single kabataan who stepped up. We have Mr. and Ms. Youth Camp 2026 and Talent Night to give everyone a space to shine, break out of their shells, and own the stage. Seeing them conquer their fears and share their gifts made the whole night truly unforgettable.

𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | Alongside the Celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan and Youth Camp 2026, The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cabano are filled with immense pride and joy to celebrate the triumphant success of Parangal 2026, a monumental evening dedicated to honoring the brilliant minds, tireless work, and outstanding achievements. This year, we are thrilled to recognize 55 exceptional awardees whose relentless dedication, passion, and resilience have set a shining standard of excellence. Their journey toward this moment has been paved with late nights, sacrifice, and an unyielding commitment to growth and making this recognition deeply deserved.

The significance of this celebration was elevated by the inspiring presence of our distinguished guests. We extend our deepest gratitude to our guest speaker, Ms. Josel Villarma, whose powerful words of wisdom instilled invaluable lessons and lit a spark of motivation in the hearts of everyone present and for the Words of Gratitude, Mr. John Reniel Lamasan by sharing his experiences and learnings. We were equally honored by the active participation and presence of Hon. Juliet Tamayor and Hon. John Garganera, who generously took the time to stand as witnesses to our students’ achievements, proving that the success of our youth is a triumph shared by the entire community.

Behind every shining graduate stands a strong foundation of love, sacrifice, and guidance. 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟬𝟮 | 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 & 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗴𝗲 ✨

Day 02 of the SK Youth Camp 2026 begin with a meaningful session starting with informative discussion from Hon. Eugen Ferrer that shares about Digital Literacy: Cyber Hygiene topic, focused on shaping the personal character and ethical mindset of the young leaders especially posting on social meadia. His session centered on how true leadership starts from within—emphasizing self-discipline, goal-setting, and accountability. He shared practical guidance on how youth can lead by example among their peers, make principled decisions in their daily lives, and actively apply to their values to contribute positively especially in any media platforms.

Afterwards, representing the local law enforcement sector, officers from PNP-San Lorenzo provided a crucial perspective on civic responsibility, legal awareness, and public safety. Their discussion highlighted how youth leadership intersects with community building, encouraging the youth to uphold discipline, resist negative peer influences, and stay away from dangerous habits. By sharing real-world insights, PNP-San Lorenzo inspired the participants to act as role models for peace, order, and crime prevention within the municipality.

In the afternoon session serving as the primary resource speaker for leadership topic, Ms. Genelyn Gaborno delivered a comprehensive discussion on the fundamental principles of Leadership in the Digital age. She emphasized that true leadership begins with self-discipline, integrity, and a willingness to serve others. Her session challenged the youth to identify their personal values, build resilience in the face of life challenges and recognize that every individual has the capacity to influence positive change regardless of their role or age. Furthermore the SSLG students of Doña Lucia C. Locsin Memorial School to be accompanied by their adviser Ma’am Cynna Lou Overio actively participated in a transformative Youth Leadership Program designed to build strong character, foster teamwork, and empower young minds. Throughout the sessions, the student pupil engaged to discover their potential as future leaders, learning how to take initiative within their school and local community while developing accountability and effective communication skills.✨

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟎𝟏 | 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

The SK Youth Camp 2026 officially began with an inspiring Opening Program through a Psychosocial Activity centered on handling emotions, and valuing mental health among youth.

The activity was spearheaded by the first resource speaker, Ms. Myrna Sobremisana Gania, in which she shared valuable insights on the importance of understanding and dealing with our emotions, reminding the youth that taking care of our mental and emotional well-being is an essential part of growing and becoming better individuals.

The program was also graced by the presence of SB Member Jhon Garganera, who shared an encouraging message and words of inspiration for the young participants.

Adding warmth and joy to the celebration was a wonderful singing performance by Mr. Zairon Bolvider, making the opening program even more memorable. ✨

As the evening unfolded, the campers gathered around the bonfire for a meaningful session focused on strengthening their spiritual well-being. Through worship, reflection, and open sharing, the youth were given a safe space to express their experiences, listen to one another, and grow together.

The first day of Youth Camp 2026 marked the beginning of a meaningful journey one that recognizes that youth matters, their voices matter, and their well-being matters.

On August 21, 2026, in celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the 3-Day Sangguniang Kabataan Youth Camp successfully kicked off with a meaningful Tree Growing and Coastal Clean-Up Drive.

This initiative brought young people together to foster socio-civic consciousness, environmental responsibility, and active participation in creating a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable community.

The Sangguniang Kabataan Council would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to beloved partners and volunteers from San Lorenzo Bureau of Fire Protection team, Barangay Kagawad Mercedes Abas, and the students of Dr. Catalino G. Nava Memorial High School for their valuable support and participation in making this activity a success.

👕 Clothes – Pack enough comfortable attire for the entire duration.
⛺ Tent – For your sleeping space and shelter.
