📌 Entrepreneurship Seminar for OFWs

On March 25, 2026, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Guimaras Provincial Office, through its Negosyo Center, conducted an Entrepreneurship Seminar for returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) at the DTI Guimaras Provincial Office.

Coverage of the discussions were fundamental entrepreneurship concepts, including the advantages and potential risks of starting a business, as well as the steps involved in business registration. They were also guided in crafting business proposals and preparing basic financial projections to help them develop practical and sustainable business ideas.

Through initiatives like this, DTI Guimaras continues to promote entrepreneurship as a means of supporting OFW reintegration and fostering economic empowerment. Participants were also guided in preparing their Business Model Canvas, business proposals, and basic financial estimates to help them plan and develop feasible enterprises.
