The incoming Pisay-Bicol Supreme Student Government (SSG) is enthusiastic to announce that applications for our Special Roles (Portfolios, Event Leads, & Committee Headships) for A.Y. 2026-2027 are officially open! These positions are being introduced this academic year to streamline student leadership, keep information flowing smoothly, and improve the ex*****on of campus activities. ๐
By taking on these roles, you will have the unique opportunity to manage general organizational workflows, execute presidential platforms, handle external media relations, and directly oversee student welfare, campus operations, logistics, and student engagement. ๐
We are officially open for sign-ups across five major institutional tracks, combining our special executive portfolios and the committee headships:
๐ค 1. Core Executive Staff Leads
The central support leads who work directly with the SSG's core leadership to manage general organizational workflows. ๐ฅ This track features two specific special roles available for sign-ups:
a. SSG Chief of Staff: Dedicated to students in the Specialization Years Program (SYP). ๐ผ
b. SSG Deputy Chief of Staff: Open for Grades 9 to 11 students. ๐ฅ
๐๏ธ 2. Specialized Executive Portfolios
These are quasi-independent institutional roles created to execute specific presidential platforms and manage external campus media relations. ๐ฅ๏ธ Discover your role across these four dedicated departments:
a. Proyekto ALINGAWNGAW: Student Representative Liaison and General Assembly (GA) Program Manager. ๐ฃ๏ธ
b. Proyekto SULร: Constitutional Review & Policy Chairperson. ๐
c. Proyekto SIYASAT: Independent Audit Working Group Head. ๐
d. Institutional Media Relations: Campus Media Liaison. ๐
๐ 3. Specialized Event Portfolios
Project-based leadership roles dedicated entirely to executing major landmark SSG events and initiatives for the student body and beyond. ๐ Take charge of our campus milestones in one of these three special roles:
a. Acquaintance Party (AKWE) & Scholars' Day Chairperson. ๐
b. Student Evening Events Lead. ๐
c. Proyekto TABรNG & Disaster Relief Head. ๐ค
๐ฆ 4. Internals and Liaisons Committee (ILIKOM) Headships
These roles serve as on-the-ground ex*****on teams for student welfare, campus operations, and logistics. ๐ซ Positions are split into distinct Head and Co-Head roles across four subcommittees:
a. ALPCOR Head and Co-Head: Serves as the bridge of communication between ALP Clubs, the GPTA, the administration, and scholars during events. ๐ฃ๏ธ
b. FACOR Head and Co-Head: Maintains campus facilities and drives the SSG Cleanliness & Water Dispenser Programs. ๐งน
c. MAPACOR Head and Co-Head: Handles the procurement of event materials and leads the Ready for Red Days program. ๐
d. ROVCOR Head and Co-Head: Manages immediate event needs, such as crowd monitoring and ushering guests. ๐ถโโ๏ธ
๐ฃ 5. Publicity Committee (PUBCOM) Co-Headships
These roles serve as the publicity engine of the SSG, responsible for student engagement. ๐ธ Headed by the SSG PIO and Batch Representatives, discover your role as a Co-Head in its four subcommittees: ๐ฅ๏ธ
a. Contents Co-Head: Responsible for researching and writing announcements, captions, and official messages. โ๏ธ
b. Creatives Co-Head: Handles pubmats, digital artwork, stage designs, and presentations. ๐จ
c. Documentation Co-Head: Captures school events through photos, videos, and promotional teasers. ๐น
d. Technicals Co-Head: Manages the sounds, lights, and event equipment during school activities. ๐๏ธ
Joining these specialized portfolios builds your leadership and executive skills through direct, hands-on experience. ๐ ๏ธ Better yet, students who volunteer for any SSG special role will receive an official certification, which you can include in your year-end student portfolio! ๐
