🐟 CROSS-BORDER SUPPORT: Tilapia Fingerling Distribution for Hilongos, Leyte!

Extending our fisheries services to help our neighboring communities thrive! 🚀🌊

We recently distributed high-quality tilapia fingerlings to local fishpond owners in Hilongos, Leyte. To ensure a smooth process, their dedicated Agricultural Technologist (AT) for Fisheries took the lead in coordinating and obtaining the fingerlings directly from our freshwater hatchery facility.

Collaborations like this strengthen our regional aquaculture bond and pave the way for more bountiful harvests across Leyte! 🤝🌾

🌿 MONDAY DEPLOYMENT: Azolla Pickup at Brgy. Gabas Hatchery!

Starting the week right with sustainable aquaculture! ☀️🐟

Last Monday morning, the team facilitated the collection of Azolla fresh from our Freshwater Hatchery in Sitio Cienda, Brgy. Gabas. These nutrient-rich aquatic plants were secured by the LGU to support the operations of the VSU Tilapia Farm as an excellent, high-protein alternative feed.

Through continued collaboration between the LGU and partners like VSU, we are making local fish farming smarter, cheaper, and more sustainable! 🤝🌾

🎬 Watch the video below to catch the morning action at the hatchery! 👇
