Hello again CLAAian's~ It's Friday and the 8th Fact Friday post!

Today is about card catalogs. It has been providing quick, reliable access to a library’s collection. Before Dewey, Cutter, and American Library Association libraries were essentially left to their own devices when it came to organizing their books. What you see emerge with the card catalog is not only an effective way to catalog a library but also a set of standards shared by most libraries. Although today there are few libraries that still use card catalogs as we are in the digital age.

Hello again dear CLAAian's! It's another day for FACT FRIDAY!

Today we bring to you a fact of a very special book, the Bible.
The Bible is the most translated and printed book of all time. And it is also the most stolen one together with the Guinness Book of World Records. Stolen? Yes, it is ironic that the book that declares “thou shalt not steal” is apparently often stolen especially in libraries and in sales!
