On July 30, 2026, we had the privilege of participating in the Orientation on the 48th National Disability Rights Week, held at the Municipal Town Hall, Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat, with the theme:

“Rights First, Legislation Forward: Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development.”

The orientation provided a meaningful opportunity to strengthen our understanding of disability rights, inclusive development, and equal participation, while reminding us of our shared responsibility to ensure that persons with disabilities are empowered, respected, and given equal opportunities to actively participate in our community.

Our sincere gratitude goes to Junaina G. G**o, RSW, MPA, SWO I, Regional PWD Focal Person, and Shinny S. Araza, RSW, for generously sharing their knowledge, expertise, and valuable insights during the orientation. Your dedication to promoting and protecting the rights of persons with disabilities is truly inspiring. 💙

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our beloved Mayor, Hon. CHARLES FEDERIC R. PLOTEÑA, and Vice Mayor, Hon. HELEN T. LATOG, for their unwavering support and commitment to programs and initiatives that promote the welfare, dignity, rights, and inclusion of persons with disabilities in our municipality. We were given a meaningful orientation on the SDCA (Service Delivery Capacity Assessment) Tool, which helped us better understand its purpose, key components, and importance in assessing and strengthening service delivery capacity. The orientation provided us with valuable knowledge and practical insights that we can apply in our work.

Honoring the lives and contributions of our senior citizens! ❤️

𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐇 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 for Senior Citizens aged 80, 85, 90, and 95 years old at the Audio Visual Room, Municipal Town Hall, JULY 17, 2026.

This initiative reflects our commitment to recognizing the invaluable role of our elderly in building a stronger and more caring community. We hope that this assistance brings comfort and support to our deserving senior citizens.

LCPC/MCPC and LCAT-VAWC successfully conducted their 2nd Quarterly Meeting cm Capability Development, bringing together partner agencies, stakeholders, and council members to discuss key updates, strengthen collaboration, and reaffirm our shared commitment to protecting the welfare of children, families, and the community.

A key highlight of the activity was the Capability Development on the Safe Spaces Act (Republic Act No. 11313), also known as the Bawal Bastos Law. The session emphasized the importance of preventing gender-based sexual harassment, fostering accountability, and promoting safe, respectful, and inclusive spaces for everyone.

Through continued collaboration and capacity-building, we strengthen our collective responsibility to uphold the rights, dignity, and protection of every individual. Together, we move forward in building a community where everyone can live, work, and thrive in safety and respect.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all participants, partner agencies, resource speakers, and stakeholders for their active participation and valuable contributions, which made this activity a success.
