On September 20, 2026 (Sunday), the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) will be conducted in the Municipality of Balangkayan.

As we prepare to welcome LET examinees from different areas who will be taking the examination at the Balangkayan Testing Center, we anticipate that many examinees may arrive in the municipality a few days before the examination to familiarize themselves with the area and prepare for the examination.

🏠 With this, the Local Government of Balangkayan is encouraging individuals who have available rental units, boarding houses, or residential properties that may be offered as accommodation to LET examinees to coordinate with the Municipal Tourism Office.

Those who are interested in having their properties listed as available accommodation, homestay, or boarding house establishments are encouraged to register their units with the Municipal Tourism Office.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL LICENSURE EXAMINATION FOR TEACHERS (LET) EXAMINEES WHO WILL BE TAKING THE EXAMINATION AT BALANGKAYAN TESTING CENTER

As previously announced by the Municipality of Balangkayan, a FREE FINAL COACHING will be conducted through the generous sponsorship of Cong. Sheen Gonzales.

📅 Date: September 13, 2026 (Sunday) 8AM-5PM
📍 Venue: Balangkayan, Eastern Samar (EXACT LOCATION OF VENUE TO BE ANNOUNCED ON FRIDAY)
🎓 Final Coaching: FREE

All examinees interested in attending the final coaching are required to pre-register through the link provided below.

September 10, 2026, 5:00 PM (Thursday)

📌 IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
• Pre-registration is required for all examinees who wish to attend the final coaching.
• Examinees who wish to avail of the FREE TRANSPORTATION on the examination day are likewise required to accomplish the registration form and indicate their desired pick-up points.
• Please be reminded that meals and transportation will NOT be provided during the final coaching. Attendees are encouraged to bring or prepare their own meals and other personal necessities for the activity.
• Free meals will be provided on the actual LET examination day, as part of the assistance extended to the examinees.

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬

Technical assistance and orientation on Republic Act No. 12009, or the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA), and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) were conducted for barangay officials to help them understand and prepare for the transition to the updated government procurement framework.

Through this activity, the barangay officials are better prepared to apply the updated procurement rules helping ensure better and more responsive public service for their respective communities.

The Municipality of Balangkayan warmly welcomed House Minority Leader and 4Ps Partylist Representative Cong. Marcelino “Nonoy” C. Libanan during his visit to the town to personally see and gain a better understanding of Balangkayan’s development needs and priority projects.

During his visit, Congressman Libanan personally inspected the Balangkayan Seawall, one of the priority projects presented by Mayor Allan Contado for funding support. Also presented were the completion of road networks and Farm-to-Market Roads (FMRs), and the re-construction of the New Municipal Building which he expressed his full support for.
