Behind every healthy community is a dedicated team of healthcare workers who continue to serve with compassion, commitment, and heart.
This Health Workersโ Month, the Municipality of Dumanjug proudly recognizes the hardworking men and women of the Dumanjug Primary Care Facility (PCF) whose daily efforts continue to protect and improve the health of every Dumanjuganon.
From doctors, nurses, midwives, barangay health workers, nutrition scholars, medical technologists, ambulance drivers, encoders, and utility personnel, each one plays an important role in ensuring accessible and quality healthcare services reach even the farthest barangays of the municipality.
The Dumanjug PCF continues to strengthen its healthcare programs through maternal and child care services, immunization, nutrition initiatives, family planning, laboratory services, TB and HIV programs, emergency response, health education, and various community outreach activities focused on preventive and holistic healthcare.
Leading these efforts is Municipal Health Officer Dr. April Cortes, whose vision and dedication continue to guide the facility toward more responsive and community-centered healthcare services.
โHealthcare is not only about treating illness. It is about protecting lives, promoting wellness, and making every Dumanjuganon feel cared for and safe,โ Dr. Cortes shared.
The continued strengthening of healthcare programs and services in Dumanjug is made possible through the collaborative efforts of local leaders, healthcare workers, and community partners working together toward accessible and quality healthcare for every Dumanjuganon.
As the municipality celebrates Health Workersโ Month, Dumanjug honors all healthcare workers whose silent sacrifices and unwavering service continue to bring healing, comfort, and hope to the community every single day.
