Mr. Glen L. Betco, City Environment Acting Regulatory and Technical Compliance Division, paid a courtesy visit to Police Colonel Richie M. Yatar, City Director of the Butuan City Police Office (BCPO), at the BCPO Headquarters.

The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening coordination and collaboration between the local government and law enforcement agencies in promoting environmental protection, public safety, and regulatory compliance within Butuan City.

PCOL Richie M. Yatar expressed his appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed BCPOโ€™s commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable community through strong inter-agency partnership.

The courtesy visit also served as an avenue to foster mutual cooperation and strengthen professional ties in delivering quality public service to the people of Butuan City.

Ang City Environment and Natural Resources Department (CENRD) gusto magpasabot sa publiko usa sa mga mandato ang pagmintinar sa kalimpyo sa syudad. Regular nga ginapahigayon ang clean-up operations sa Montilla Boulevard Overpass nga sakop sa Barangay Diego Silang. Kini nga kalihokan ginabuhat matag Miyerkules pinaagi sa assigned street sweeper personnel nga maoy nakatoka sa paglimpyo ug pagmintinar sa kahinlo sa maong pasilidad.

Base sa initial assessment, posible nga ang hinungdan sa padayon nga pagkatapok sa basura sa lugar, mao ang nagagikan sa mga gahi og ulo nga mga indibidwal ug mga street children nga nagatambay ug nagapakita og dili maayong disiplina. Nasayran usab nga adunay kakulang sa security measures ug suga sa maong pasilidad nga mahimong nakaamot sa kasamtangang sitwasyon.

Bisan pa man, dili mandato sa CENRD ang pagbantay o paggukod sa mga nagatambay sa overpass. Apan, padayon gihapon ang among koordinasyon sa concern agencies aron matan-aw ang posibleng dugang nga mga lakang alang sa kaluwasan, kahapsay, ug kahinlo sa maong lugara.

This serves as a requirement for the issuance of an Environmental Clearance, which is a mandatory post-requirement for the approval and renewal of all business permits within the city.
