The 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 and 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, headed by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗟. 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗺, joined the Municipality of Don Carlos during the 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗬 𝗔𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗔 activity held in 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗢𝗹𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 , led by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮. 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗢𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘀-𝗣𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼, 𝗖𝗣𝗔.

As part of their participation, the Municipal Nutrition Office distributed 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗜𝗘𝗖) materials to promote proper nutrition and healthy practices, while the Municipal Agriculture Office provided 𝗩𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 to encourage home gardening and sustainable food production among households. Selected beneficiary families with identified undernourished children also received Eight (𝟴) 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 of chickens to support household food security and help improve access to nutritious food.

Working hand in hand, we continue to plant the seeds of better nutrition, healthier families, and a more resilient Don Carlos.

Breastfeeding plays a vital role during a child's First 1,000 Days, providing the essential nutrients needed for healthy growth, brain development, and protection against illnesses. It also strengthens the bond between mother and child while laying the foundation for lifelong health and well-being.
The 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝘀 proudly joins the nation in celebrating 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵. Together, let us continue to create a supportive environment where every mother is empowered to breastfeed and every child is given the healthiest start in life. 💙🤱

𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗪𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧. 𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛. 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗 𝗕𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗦. 💚

The 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗛𝗥𝗠𝗢) of the Municipality of Don Carlos officially kicked off the 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 program for municipal employees, in collaboration with the 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 (𝗥𝗛𝗨) and the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗠𝗡𝗢).

The kick-off activity featured an inspiring and informative session by 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗗. 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗜 of the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗡𝗡𝗖) 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗫, who shared valuable insights on achieving better health through proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices.
More than just monitoring weight, the program encourages employees to embrace healthier lifestyles, make better food choices, stay physically active, and develop lasting healthy habits—one step at a time.

From one barangay to another, the Municipality of Don Carlos has successfully concluded its barangay-based celebration of 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. Over the past days, communities came together through activities that promoted proper nutrition, healthy lifestyles, home gardening, and active community participation—all in support of this year's theme, 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻, 𝗔𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗮𝗻!

To all barangays, volunteers, partners, and everyone who contributed to the success of this celebration—thank you for your dedication and commitment to building healthier families and stronger communities.
