Matagumpay na idinaos ng Don Rosalio Eduarte Elementary School (DREES) ang Culminating Program ng Buwan ng Wika 2026, tampok ang kahusayan at pagkamalikhain ng mga mag-aaral sa paggamit ng wikang Filipino.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang, nagpamalas ng kanilang husay sa masining na pagkukuwento ang mga mag-aaral mula Ikaapat hanggang Ikaanim na Baitang. Sa pamamagitan ng malikhaing pagsasalaysay, wastong pagbigkas, angkop na ekspresyon, at makabuluhang paghahatid ng mensahe, naipakita ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang talento at pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino.

Samantala, binigyang-pagkilala rin ang mga mag-aaral na nagwagi sa isinagawang Paligsahan sa Pagtutula. Ang paggawad ng mga sertipiko at parangal ay nagsilbing pagkilala sa kanilang pagsisikap, kahusayan, at natatanging talento sa pagtula.

Ang programa ay pinangunahan ni Gng. Migara F. Talledo Mhegz Talledo , Tagapag-ugnay sa Filipino, na nagsikap upang maging makabuluhan at masigla ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika. Patuloy naman itong sinuportahan at sinubaybayan ni Gng. Teresa B. Arias MamTeres Arias A Alogirb , Principal II, na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng pagpapaunlad ng kasanayan ng mga mag-aaral sa Filipino.

Sa pagtatapos ng programa, muling naipakita na ang Buwan ng Wika ay hindi lamang pagdiriwang ng wika at kultura, kundi isang mahalagang pagkakataon upang malinang ang talento, tiwala sa sarili, pagkamalikhain, at pagmamahal ng mga mag-aaral sa sariling wika.

Sa pamamagitan ng mga gawaing tulad ng masining na pagkukuwento at pagtutula, patuloy na isinusulong ng DREES ang pagpapahalaga sa wikang Filipino bilang mahalagang kasangkapan sa pagkatuto at pagkakaisa.

Bright Smiles, Bright Futures: DREES Learners Receive Oral Care Kits

Promoting good oral health among young learners, Don Rosalio Eduarte Elementary School (DREES) participated in the Bright Smiles, Bright Future Program, a partnership between the Department of Education (DepEd) and Colgate-Palmolive Philippines Inc.

As part of the program, Kindergarten and Grade 1 learners received toothbrushes and toothpaste to encourage them to practice proper oral hygiene and develop healthy brushing habits at an early age.

The initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining good oral health and help children understand that regular toothbrushing is an essential part of staying healthy. The distribution of oral care products also supports schools and families in promoting proper dental hygiene among young learners.

The school community, under the leadership of Ma’am Teresa B. Arias MamTeres Arias A Alogirb , Principal II, expressed its sincere gratitude to the Department of Education and Colgate-Palmolive Philippines Inc. for extending this meaningful program to the learners of DREES.

RHU Dolores Promotes Health Awareness Through Deworming and HPV Vaccination Campaign at DREES

The Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Dolores conducted a Health Awareness Campaign at Don Rosalio Eduarte Elementary School (DREES) to promote health and wellness among learners and parents.

The RHU personnel oriented learners and parents on the importance of deworming and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination, particularly for Grade 4 female learners. The health orientation aimed to provide the school community with essential information on the benefits, purpose, and importance of these preventive health interventions.

Following the orientation, deworming tablets were distributed to learners, while HPV vaccines were administered to eligible Grade 4 female learners with the necessary parental consent. The initiative emphasized the importance of early prevention and proper health practices in safeguarding children from preventable diseases.

The activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the RHU Dolores health personnel, school personnel, learners, and parents, strengthening the school’s commitment to maintaining a healthy and safe learning environment. The Youth Civic Action (Program) YCAP Coordinator, Maam Sonia T. Ragonton Sonia Buentipo Timbreza Ragonton initiated this activity and requested the RHU Dolores for an orientation.

The school, headed by Ma’am Teresa B. Arias MamTeres Arias A Alogirb , Principal II, expressed its sincere gratitude to the RHU Dolores for conducting the health awareness campaign and providing essential health services to the learners. Don Rosalio Eduarte Elementary School conducted the Term 1 Class Observation as part of its continuing effort to strengthen teaching practices and improve the delivery of quality instruction.

The classroom observations were conducted by Ma’am Teresa B. Arias MamTeres Arias A Alogirb , School Principal II, and Ma’am Sonia T. Ragonton, Master Teacher I.
