Demonstrating its commitment to education, volunteerism, and community service, the SK Federation of San Jose approved SK Federation Resolution No. 002, Series of 2026, mandating all SK Councils in the municipality to actively participate in the conduct of Brigada Eskwela 2026 in their respective elementary schools.

The resolution was formally moved by Hon. Jessie Bae Paredes and duly seconded by Hon. Crystel May Patalino, receiving the support of the Federation members present during the meeting.

Through this initiative, the Federation encourages every SK Council to take part in preparing school facilities, mobilizing volunteers, and fostering the spirit of bayanihan in support of quality education and a learner-friendly environment for all.

Under the leadership of Hon. Kim Valeri A. Tampon, SK Federation President and Ex-Officio Member of the Sangguniang Bayan, the Federation continues to champion meaningful youth-led initiatives that promote civic responsibility, community engagement, and active participation in nation-building.

As one youth sector, we remain steadfast in advancing programs and activities that contribute to the welfare of our students and communities, in partnership with our schools, local government units, and stakeholders.

Protecting the environment begins with simple actions that we practice every day. By reducing waste, conserving energy, planting trees, and properly managing our resources, we can help preserve nature and create a healthier future for everyone.

The youth play a vital role in environmental protection. Small efforts, when done consistently and collectively, can make a significant impact on our communities and inspire others to become responsible stewards of the environment.

June 1, 2026 | The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of San Jose, headed by Hon. Kim Valeri A. Tampon, SK Federated President, together with Ma'am Sarah Faith A. Catubig, CPA, LYDO-Designate, the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) Members, and SK Federation Members, continued its Brigada Eskwela 2026 initiative by extending support to Don Jose Ecleo Memorial College (DJEMC).

While primarily recognized as a private college institution, DJEMC also caters to Junior High School and Senior High School learners. In line with the spirit of Brigada Eskwela, the youth sector deemed it important to support the school's efforts in preparing a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for its high school students as they gear up for another academic year.

Through the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) Fund for the youth of the Municipality of San Jose, cleaning materials including broomsticks, dustpans, brushes, detergents, and pails, as well as snacks for volunteers, were turned over to assist in the school's preparation activities.

This initiative reflects our belief that every learner deserves a welcoming and well-prepared school environment, regardless of whether they are enrolled in a public or private educational institution. Education remains a shared responsibility, and supporting our schools means investing in the future of our youth.

We express our sincere appreciation to the administration, faculty, staff, volunteers, LYDC Members, and SK Chairpersons who contributed to the success of this activity. June 1, 2026 | As part of the Municipality of San Jose's continuing support for Brigada Eskwela 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of San Jose, under the leadership of Hon. Kim Valeri A. Tampon, SK Federated President, together with Ma'am Sarah Faith A. Catubig, CPA, LYDO-Designate, the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) Members, and SK Federation Members, joined the Brigada Eskwela activities at Don Ruben E. Ecleo Sr. Memorial National High School (DREESMNHS).

To contribute to the preparation of the school for the incoming academic year, essential cleaning materials such as broomsticks, dustpans, brushes, detergents, and pails, along with snacks for volunteer workers, were provided through the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) Fund dedicated to the youth of the Municipality of San Jose.

This initiative reflects our shared commitment to creating a clean, organized, and welcoming learning environment where students can thrive. It also highlights the value of collaboration among the youth sector, educators, and community stakeholders in supporting the goals of quality education.

June 1, 2026 | Demonstrating our continued support for quality education and community volunteerism, the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of San Jose, headed by Hon. Kim Valeri A. Tampon, SK Federated President, together with Ma'am Sarah Faith A. Catubig, CPA, LYDO-Designate, the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) Members, and SK Federation Members, took part in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program of Jade B. Ecleo-Aurelio National High School (JBE-ANHS).

Through the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) Fund for the youth of the Municipality of San Jose, various cleaning supplies including broomsticks, dustpans, brushes, detergents, and pails, as well as snacks for volunteers, were turned over to support the school's Brigada Eskwela activities. The delegation also joined the ceremonial Signing of Commitment, signifying our shared responsibility in promoting a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for every learner.

We express our heartfelt appreciation to the LYDC Members, SK Chairpersons, volunteers, teachers, and community stakeholders whose participation made this initiative meaningful and impactful.
