𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: On 31 March 2026, Coast Guard Sub-station Cagdianao, led by Ensign Mark Rudolf G Garcia PCG, partnered with the Cagdianao Municipal Tourism Office conducted Beach Pre-Safety Inspections and Awareness activities across Tagbirajan Beach resort, Golden Beach Leisure Park, Fluir Frio's Beach Resort, Strand Beach Resort, and Lian’s Beach Resort in Brgy. San Jose, Cagdianao, Dinagat Islands.

The operation ensured that all local beach operators adhere to mandatory safety standards in preparation for the influx of visitors during Semana Santa and Summer Vacation 2026. This proactive measure is part of the Philippine Coast Guard’s Intensified Community Assistance, Awareness, Response, and Enforcement (ICARE) Program.

CGSS Cagdianao remains dedicated to ensuring a safe, peaceful, and reliable environment for all residents and tourists in the Dinagat Islands.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) warns the public regarding reports of an individual falsely impersonating the Commandant of the Philippine Coast Guard (CPCG) through phone call.
The PCG clarifies that these phone calls are fraudulent and unauthorized. The CPCG does not engage in such communications for personal, financial, or unofficial purposes, nor does he solicit monetary assistance through calls or any other means.
All PCG personnel are likewise reminded to exercise vigilance and refrain from engaging with or responding to unverified calls that may compromise the integrity and credibility of the organization.
The PCG is currently coordinating with concerned authorities to investigate the incident and to pursue appropriate legal action against those responsible.
The PCG reiterates its commitment to protecting the public and upholding trust by ensuring the dissemination of accurate and verified information.

Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapatupad ng Community Assistance, Awareness, Response, and Enforcement (iCARE) Program ng Philippine Coast Guard, hinihikayat ng Coast Guard District Northeastern Mindanao ang publiko na makiisa sa pagpapanatili ng kaligtasan at kaayusan sa mga pantalan, sasakyang-pandagat, at baybaying lugar sa buong rehiyon ng Caraga ngayong Semana Santa at Summer Vacation 2026.
Ang bawat mamamayan ay may mahalagang papel sa pagpigil sa aksidente at sakuna. Kung may mapansin na hindi ligtas na gawain, kakulangan sa safety procedures, o anumang kahina-hinalang sitwasyon, agad itong iulat upang maagapan ang posibleng panganib.

• Kulang o walang emergency exit signage
