𝐈𝐍 𝐅𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒 || The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 9, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐋 𝐓 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐋 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Acting Regional Director, and the supervision of 𝗙𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗜𝗢 𝗣 𝗔𝗟𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗡, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Provincial Fire Marshal,The Dimataling Municipal Fire Station under the leadership of SFOI Seittie Meriam S Dacula-Tng, Acting Municipal Fire 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹/ Shift B Duty personnel of Dimataling Municipal Fire Station, Conducted an inspection of various establishments in Barangay Kagawasan, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur, to assess their compliance with fire safety standards and regulations. The activity focused on identifying potential fire hazards, checking the availability and proper condition of fire safety equipment, and providing necessary recommendations to business owners and personnel to help prevent fire incidents and ensure the safety of occupants, customers, and properties.

To ensure compliance with fire safety standards and the validity of business permits and related documents. The activity aimed to assess adherence to established safety regulations, strengthen fire prevention measures, and promote the continuous maintenance of a safe and secure environment for business owners, employees, and the public.

The EMT duty is significant in ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of all participants during the 23rd Provincial Scout Jamboree. It provides immediate medical assistance, first aid, patient assessment, and emergency response to individuals who may experience injuries, illness, or other medical emergencies.

The presence of the Emergency Medical Team also strengthens preparedness and coordination among responders, enables timely intervention, and helps prevent minor medical conditions from developing into more serious emergencies. Overall, the EMT duty plays an essential role in maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout the event.

Personnel visibility was conducted during the fireworks display at the closing program of the 23rd Provincial Scout Jamboree to ensure fire safety and maintain emergency preparedness throughout the activity. The presence of BFP personnel helped monitor potential fire hazards, promote safety awareness among participants and spectators, and ensure immediate response in case of fire, medical emergencies, or other untoward incidents. This activity contributed to the safe and orderly conduct of the closing program and helped protect the lives and property of all attendees.

The activity emphasized the vital role of rescue personnel in ensuring the safety, proper guidance, and successful participation of the Scouts throughout the rappelling activity. It also promoted discipline, teamwork, confidence, and strict adherence to safety procedures, thereby minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries during the activity.

The activity was significant in ensuring the safety and protection of the participating Scouts during the rappelling activity. It provided proper assistance, guidance, and safety support to help the Scouts perform the activity correctly and confidently while minimizing the risk of accidents or injuries. It also promoted teamwork, discipline, courage, and readiness in responding to possible emergencies during the 23rd Provincial Scout Jamboree.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒|| The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 9, under the leadership of 𝗙𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐋 𝐓 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐔𝐋, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Regional Director, and the supervision of 𝗙𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗧 𝗟𝗨𝗖𝗜𝗢 𝗣 𝗔𝗟𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗡, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, Provincial Fire Marshal, Shift-B personnel of Dimataling Municipal Fire Station, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟏 𝐒𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐦 𝐒 𝐃𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚-𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥, conducted a Fire Safety Seminar for the Boy Scout Jamboree held at the Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Government College – Dimataling Campus, in coordination with the BFP Pitogo Fire Station, Barangay Kagawasan, Dimataling, Zamboanga del Sur. The activity focused on enhancing the participants’ knowledge and awareness of fire prevention, fire safety practices, and proper emergency response procedures. It also emphasized the importance of preparedness, vigilance, and responsible actions in preventing fire incidents and ensuring the safety and protection of all participants throughout the Jamboree.

The conduct of a Fire Safety Seminar for the Boy Scout Jamboree is significant in enhancing the knowledge, awareness, and preparedness of the participants regarding fire prevention and emergency response. The seminar provides Boy Scouts, Scout Leaders, and other participants with essential information on fire hazards, proper fire prevention practices, safe evacuation procedures, and the correct use of fire extinguishers. It also promotes discipline, responsibility, and the importance of remaining calm and acting appropriately during fire and other emergency incidents. Through this activity, participants are better equipped to protect themselves and others, prevent possible fire incidents, and contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment throughout the duration of the Jamboree.

Personnel visibility during the 23rd Provincial Scout Jamboree is significant because it ensures the presence and readiness of BFP personnel in providing fire prevention, emergency medical assistance, rescue support, and immediate response in case of emergencies. It also helps maintain safety and security in the event venue, promotes awareness of fire safety and emergency preparedness among Scouts and leaders, and strengthens coordination between the BFP, scouting organization, LGU, and other participating agencies. The visible presence of BFP personnel likewise builds public confidence and demonstrates the Bureau’s commitment to protecting lives and property, particularly during large gatherings where preparedness and rapid response are essential.

It also provided an opportunity to strengthen awareness of safety measures, responsible citizenship, and the role of every individual in preventing criminal activities. Through this celebration, the community is encouraged to work together in building a safer, more peaceful, and secure environment for everyone.

The celebration of National Crime Prevention Week is significant because it promotes public awareness and encourages individuals, communities, schools, government agencies, and law enforcement organizations to work together in preventing crime and maintaining peace and order. It provides an opportunity to educate the public about crime prevention measures, personal safety, community responsibility, and the importance of reporting suspicious activities. The observance also strengthens cooperation among government agencies and community stakeholders in addressing factors that may contribute to criminal activities. Ultimately, National Crime Prevention Week promotes a safer, more peaceful, and crime-resilient community through awareness, cooperation, and active participation.
