𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗡: I-REAP South Luzon Cluster, nagsagawa ng mid-year assessment at strategic planning

Nagsagawa ang Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) I-REAP South Luzon Cluster ng Mid-Year Assessment at Strategic Planning activity, noong Agosto 11-14, 2026 sa Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Layunin nito na suriin ang naging performance ng mga enterprise subprojects sa unang semestre at matukoy ang mga kinakailangang hakbang para higit pang mapahusay ang kanilang implementasyon.

Tinalakay rin ang kasalukuyang operational status ng mga subprojects sa ilalim ng Original Loan (OL) at Second Additional Financing (AF2), kabilang ang mga pangunahing suliraning kinakaharap at mga kaukulang hakbang upang matugunan ang mga ito.

Binigyang-diin din ang timeline at mga kinakailangang paghahanda para sa maayos na turnover ng mga subprojects sa ilalim ng pangangasiwa ng AMAS/AMAD.

Ipinresenta sa aktibidad ang physical accomplishment, financial utilization, at status ng implementasyon ng mga subprojects. Sinuri rin ang mga isyu, gaps, risks, at iba pang hamon na nakaapekto sa pagpapatupad ng mga ito, kabilang ang mga salik na maaaring makaapekto sa napapanahon at maayos na paghahatid ng mga subproject.

Sa pamamagitan ng isang participatory workshop, nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang mga participants na magbahagi ng mga updates, tukuyin ang mga pangunahing concerns, at maglatag ng mga kaukulang action points at strategies.

Tinalakay rin ang pagpapalakas ng koordinasyon sa pagitan ng Project Support Office, Regional Project Coordination Offices, local government units, at proponent groups upang mas maging maayos ang pagpapatupad ng mga plano sa mga susunod na buwan.

Sa pamamagitan ng assessment at strategic planning, layunin ng aktibidad na matiyak ang mas maayos na pagtugon sa mga natukoy na concerns at higit pang mapalakas ang implementasyon ng I-REAP subprojects tungo sa pagbuo ng mas competitive at sustainable na agri-fishery enterprises. #

𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗡: Nagsagawa ang Department of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) Finance Unit ng “Enhancing Interim Financial Reporting: 2Q 2026 Workshop and Digital Submission” noong August 4–7, 2026 sa Tagaytay City, Cavite. Layunin ng aktibidad na higit pang mapalakas ang financial management capabilities ng PRDP implementers at matiyak ang maayos na pagsunod sa financial reporting requirements ng DA, Commission on Audit, at World Bank (WB).

Tinalakay rito ang preparation, consolidation, at digital submission ng Interim Financial Reports (IFRs), kabilang ang Statement and Sources of Funds, Variance Analysis of Use of Funds, Designated Account Activity Statement, Contracts Subject to Prior and Post Review, Bank Reconciliation Statement; and Cash Forecast. Kasama rin sa mga talakayan ang pag-review ng Notice of Cash Allocation utilization, bank accounts, accounting records, at iba pang kinakailangang financial reports upang matiyak ang completeness, accuracy, at consistency ng financial data.

Binigyang-diin din sa aktibidad ang IFR bilang isa sa mga financial covenants ng DA-PRDP sa ilalim ng Loan Agreement. Bilang bahagi ng proseso, iko-consolidate ng Project Support Offices ang IFRs batay sa Monthly Statement of Receipts and Expenditures na isinumite ng Regional Project Coordination Offices bago ito isumite sa National Project Coordination Office tuwing ika-15 ng bawat buwan para sa review, comments, at reconciliation.

Sa pamamagitan ng workshop na ito, patuloy na pinapalakas ng DA-PRDP ang kakayahan ng mga implementers sa accurate, timely, at consistent financial reporting, na mahalaga sa mas maayos na financial management, accountability, at transparent na implementation ng proyekto.
