Operation Tuli 2026: Two Weeks of Community Care! 🩺

What an incredible two-week journey it has been! Our health caravan has officially wrapped up its latest circuit across the municipality, bringing essential services directly to your doorsteps. Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure no one is left behind.

Over the past 14 days, we moved through Tigbao, Begong, Limas, Nilo, Maragang, Libayoy, Mate and Nanga Nangan. It was a whirlwind of activity focused on two main goals: providing safe surgical procedures for our young men and securing health insurance for our families.

Our Impact by the Numbers 📊
• Operation Tuli: We successfully assisted more or less 200 young men, ensuring they had access to safe, professional, and free circumcision services.
• PhilHealth & YAKAP: Our profiling team was equally busy, processing more or less 380 transactions—including facility tranfer and empanelments—to make sure every family is covered by "PhilHealth."
• Diagnostic Support: We also conducted 112 X-ray screenings during our stop in Begong to bolster local health monitoring.

A big day for health at the Brgy. Lacarayan Covered Court! ✨🦷 3/24/2026

We just wrapped up our Oral Health Month 2026 Activity Program, and it was about more than just smiles—it was about total community wellness.

Activity Summary:
• Dental Care by Dr. Bernadeth D. Sevilla our visiting Dentist successfully performed 27 tooth extractions, with 3 patient deferred for safety.

• Medical Consultation by Dr. Rhaden Troy Gerali provided essential medical check-ups and opening remarks.

• PhilHealth Yakap: Our dedicated RHU staff and HRH nurses facilitated on-site registration to ensure more families have access to health insurance.

• Education: Interactive lectures and demos by our HRH nurses Juan D. Marco and Ray Dan Celerian on proper tooth brushing.

A massive thank you to Hon. Gilbert Jandugan(Barangay Captain), Dr. Sevilla, Dr. Gerali, our speakers, and the entire team of barangay Lacarayan and RHU for a productive day of service! 🩺🪥💪

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ Isip mga healthcare workers, gusto namo i-klaro ni nga isyu gamit ang tinuod ug klarong impormasyon, ug dili aron manghadlok.

💉 Ang 𝐌𝐑 𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐢 𝐧𝐢 𝐛𝐚𝐠-𝐨. Ang mga bata sa 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 nakadawat na og measles-containing vaccine sa 𝟗 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐮𝐠 𝟏𝟐 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬.
Ang ginahatag karon nga 𝐌𝐑 𝐝𝐨𝐬𝐞 kay 𝐝𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐤𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧, labi na kung naa’y outbreak o taas ang kaso sa measles.

Kung naay sakit o kamatayon nga mahitabo human sa bakuna, dili pasabot nga bakuna dayon ang hinungdan.

✔️ AEFI investigation (Adverse Events Following Immunization)

‼️ Kung walay opisyal ug medical nga ebidensya, ang pag-post dayon og konklusyon sa social media makahatag og kahadlok ug kalibog, ug makapasangil sa mga health workers nga nagbuhat lang sa ilang trabaho aron maprotektahan ang kabataan batok sa measles ug rubella — mga sakit nga delikado ug makamatay.

The Rural Health Unit (RHU) initiated the 2nd Annual Mental Health Caravan 2025, supported by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tigbao and in partnership with Margosatubig Regional Hospital.

Anchored on the theme “Seeking Help for Mental Health is Not Weakness — It’s Strength,” the program aimed to raise awareness, provide accessible mental health services, and encourage the community to seek proper support without stigma.

The caravan featured health education sessions, consultations, and advocacy activities designed to promote emotional well-being and strengthen the community’s understanding of mental health. The initiative showcases the strong collaboration among the RHU, LGU of Tigbao, and Margosatubig Regional Hospital in advancing mental health care and support within the municipality.
