On February 16, 2026, the MAFAR-DAS team witnessed the ongoing construction of the Sugadol Matabanga Agriculture Cooperative office, a potential Agrarian Reform Organization (ARBO).
During the visit at Sitio Damalasak, Barangay Sugadol, Datu Abdullah Sangki, Maguindanao del Sur. The team also conducted a comprehensive orientation for the members of the cooperative on the various programs and services under the Agriculture, Agrarian Reform and Fisheries programs . The activity aimed to strengthen the capacity of the cooperative, enhance their understanding of government-supported agricultural and fisheries programs, and promote sustainable community development.

MAFAR–Datu Abdullah Sangki Consultation with Potential ARBOs

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform- Datu Abdullah Sangki (MAFAR-DAS) conducted a consultation with potential Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries’ Organizations (ARBOs)namely; Sugadol Matabanga Agriculture Cooperative (Brgy. Sugadol) and Purok Uno, Madanding Agriculture Producer Cooperative (Brgy. Madanding).

The activity focused on orienting the groups on the requirements and procedures for recognition to strengthen ARB organizations and improve access to MAFAR agrarian support programs in the BARMM.

MAFAR–Datu Abdullah Sangki (MAFAR-DAS), together with the Local Government of Datu Abdullah Sangki, accompanied the World Food Programme (WFP) and the First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan, Sir Hidenori Akasaka, during a one-day field visit in the municipality on 13 January 2026.

The activity covered the Home-Grown School Feeding Program at Campo Cuatro Elementary School, Barangay Talisawa, visits to SECURE Programme sites in Barangay Banaba and Barangay Talisawa, and a community dialogue with the Masabar Producers Cooperative in Barangay Sugadol, the local supplier for the school feeding program.

The visit highlighted strengthened partnership in advancing food security, nutrition, and climate-resilient livelihoods in Datu Abdullah Sangki.

MAFAR DAS, together with the officials of Barangay Talisawa, conducted a comprehensive visitation and site inspection of the community garden established under the WFP Secure Convergence Program in collaboration with its community partner.
The inspection aimed to assess the progress of the garden, evaluate the proper implementation of project activities, and provide guidance to ensure the sustainability and productivity of the community initiative.
Following the site visit, the community partner received vegetable seeds provided by the WFP for the next cropping cycle in their garden, ensuring continued support for local food production and livelihood development.
