During the 50th Regular Session of the Sangguniang Bayan of Sta. Cruz, I actively participated in the legislative proceedings and expressed my full support for the launch of SMART-SB (Streamlined, Modernized, and Accessible Records for Transparency)—a milestone initiative that marks a significant step toward a more efficient, transparent, and accessible local government.

As the Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) of the Municipality of Sta. Cruz, I remain committed to advancing the rights, welfare, and aspirations of the Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs) while supporting initiatives that promote innovation, accountability, and inclusive governance.

The 28th Tribal Day of Barangay Sinoron was a colorful celebration of the rich culture, traditions and unity of the Indigenous community with the inspiring theme:

"Ang Sinabbadan, Sebbad na Masarig na Kalasag, Para Ito Neta ka Sudan.”

We are privileged to acknowledge the presence and active participation of Bai Elvira I. Lim whose steadfast support and commitment continue to uplift Indigenous Peoples and safeguard their cultural heritage.

A successful conduct of the Financial Literacy and How to Start a Business Seminar was held for the Indigenous Peoples Organization (IPO) in partnership with DTI and the IPMR Office. The activity was participated by IPO officers from different barangays in Sta. Cruz, focusing on strengthening their knowledge in financial management and entrepreneurship. This initiative supports the continuous empowerment of Indigenous Peoples towards sustainable livelihood and economic growth.

𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐏 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 | June 19, 2026

The Davao del Sur Provincial IP Women Federation Meeting was successfully convened on June 19, 2026, at the NCIP Davao del Sur Provincial Office, under the leadership of Provincial IP Women President Bai Elvira Lim of the Municipality of Sta. Cruz.

The meeting served as an avenue to strengthen unity among Indigenous Peoples women leaders, discuss concerns affecting IP communities, and reaffirm the collective commitment to advancing the rights, welfare, and empowerment of IP women across the province.

As part of the activity, rice assistance was distributed to IP women members, demonstrating the Federation's continuing efforts to support the well-being of Indigenous women and their families.

Notably, the assembly expressed its trust and confidence in the leadership of Bai Elvira Lim, who was retained as the Provincial IP Women Federation President, recognizing her dedication and unwavering commitment to serving the Indigenous women of Davao del Sur.

Together, we continue to empower Indigenous women, preserve our cultural heritage, and build stronger and more resilient IP communities.

Sa opisyal na pagtapos sa Project Pag'baggí, mapasalamaton ang Astorga IP Youth Organization sa mga public and private regional, local partners na nakiglambigit sa atong pagpaningkamot nga makahatag og serbisyo alang sa atong mga kabataang katutubo sa Tubison Elementary School. Dili mamahimong malampuson ang atong kalihokan kung wala ang makanunayong suporta ug pagpanalipud sa atong mga kauban nga wala'y duhang-duha miagak sa atong gugma alang sa indigenous children.

Ang kinatibuk-an sa AIPYO council nagpasalamat sa tanang nitabang, nitambong, ug nisuporta sa atong mga plano ug kalihokan alang sa indigenous peoples sector.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗴'𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗴í 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆

Dili mamahimong madaogon ang Project Pag'baggí kung wala ang pakigtimbayayong sa atong mga regional and local public and private partners. Sa atong pagpaningkamot nga matabangan ang atong mga indigenous elementary students sa Tubison Elementary Schools, nakalikom kita ug monetary and in-kind donations gikan sa SOCSARGEN ug Davao Regions.

Bahin sa atong transparency and accountability measures, nia ang donation inventory sa maong proyekto. Ang kinatibuk-an sa AIPYO nagapasalamat sa tanang misuporta sa atong kalihukan.
