📣 Selection Process of IPMR – Barangay Zone 4, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur
The Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) selection process in Barangay Zone 4 was successfully conducted in a transparent and participatory manner. The selection was contested between Mauriscio Suriaga and Aldrin Adang, with Mauriscio Suriaga receiving the highest number of votes from the council members.
The process was witnessed and supported by the presence of the Municipal IPMR Bai Elvira Lim, Municipal Councilor and Tagabuli Tribal Chieftain Boy Datu, representatives from the NCIP, Barangay Captain Juniper L. Solamo with his Barangay Tanods ensuring peace and order of the process and the Tribal Council of Barangay Zone 4, ensuring legitimacy, unity, and adherence to proper procedures.
This meaningful event reflects the commitment of the Indigenous community to uphold democratic principles, cultural integrity, and strong leadership within the barangay.
