The 2016 ๐๐ญ. ๐๐ฉ๐จ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ remains a powerful reminder of how vulnerable our mountain is to fire. Today, we continue to protect Mt. Apo through strict safety measures, professional and trained guides, and continuous monitoring of conditions along the trails.
Trekkers are also reminded to never bring or use materials that may trigger or contribute to fire, especially during periods of intense heat and dry conditions. Every precaution matters, from proper camp practices to following the instructions of our guides and park authorities.
๐๐ญ. ๐๐ฉ๐จ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ง. But keeping it safe is a shared responsibility. Let us climb with respect, protect what nature has preserved, and leave the mountain as beautiful as we found it.
The mountain calls again. Letโs answer responsibly.
