In commemoration of the 55th araw ng Carmen we would like to invite you to the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁!

This is open to all residents of Carmen ages 5 to 18 years old who are interested to participate and show their amazing skills in Arnis. Registration is for 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘!

55th Araw ng Carmen || OBRA MUSIKA (Song Composition Contest)

I. Who are qualified to join?
1. The competition is preferably open to all Carmenians.

II. How to join?
1. The musical composition entry must be an original work of contest. The genre could be any of the following: Pop, Jazz, Ballad, Classical, Blues, Soul, Rock, R&B or of ANY GENRE. The entry must be related, reflective of, or appropriate to the beauty of Carmen that will will promote it as land of the vector.
2. Lyrics of the song must be in Tagalog or Bisaya or both. Any musical instruments may be used.
3. The song must not exceed five (5) minutes. Entries must be submitted in full accompaniment or with minus one.
4. Offensive lyrics are strictly prohibited.
5. All entries will be screened. the chosen piece will automatically be the official station ID of the "55th Araw ng Carmen". The LGU has the unlimited right to use, re-arrange, and make improvements to the musical composition.
6. The Judges'decision is final and unappealable.

III. Song Entry Mechanics
1. Only one (1) entry per contestant shall be accepted.
2. Entries shall be submitted at the Municipal Tourism and Information Office, 2nd floor of the Municipal Hall fronting Mayor's Office.
3. Accepting of entries will start on May 15, 2023 and will end on May 31, 2023.
4. Entries must comply with the following requirements:
(a) Entry in ".mp3" format with vocals and full accompaniment.
(b) Typewritten lyrics in Microsoft Word Document.
5. Failure to comply with any of the following requirements and guidelines shall be a ground for disqualification.

Criteria for Judging:

1. Musicality/Music Arrangement/ Use of Instruments- 30%
2. Lyric (Imagery, Creativity)- 30%
3. Content (Story, Promotion)- 20%
4. Originality- 10%
5. Over All Impact- 10%
Total- 100%
