𝙎𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙂𝙐𝙉𝙄𝘼𝙉𝙂 𝙆𝘼𝘽𝘼𝙏𝘼𝘼𝙉 𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙁𝙊𝙍𝙈𝘼𝙉𝘾𝙀 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙁𝙐𝙉𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙏𝙔 𝘼𝙎𝙎𝙀𝙎𝙎𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏 2025

In accordance with Municipal Ordinance No. 2024-06, the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of Maragusan proudly conducted the Annual Assessment of the Sangguniang Kabataan Councils across all barangays in the municipality. This comprehensive evaluation reviewed the functionality and performance of each SK Council based on their accomplishments, governance structure, youth engagement, and adherence to the mandates of RA 10742.
The assessment covered the SK’s implementation of programs and activities for the calendar year 2024, providing an objective basis for recognizing their efforts, identifying areas for improvement, and promoting a culture of accountability, transparency, and active youth participation in local governance.

𝑨𝑺𝑺𝑬𝑺𝑺𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻 𝑹𝑬𝑺𝑼𝑳𝑻:

𝙏𝙤𝙥 3 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙆 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙨 – Congratulations to the exemplary barangays whose SK Councils set the standard for youth leadership and community service.
𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙁𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙆𝙨 – These councils demonstrated excellent performance and strong alignment with youth development goals.
𝙈𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙁𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙆𝙨 – SKs with good practices but still have room to strengthen their operations and documentation.
𝙇𝙤𝙬 𝙁𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙆𝙨 – These SKs need focused assistance, capacity building, and improved implementation.
𝙉𝙤𝙣-𝙁𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙆𝙨 – Identified as inactive or not meeting minimum operational standards.

To the SK Leaders of Maragusan — this is a call to action. Whether you ranked high or low, this assessment is not the end, but a stepping stone toward better service and genuine leadership. Let this be a guide to continue evolving, learning, and working for the best interest of our kabataan.

We extend our appreciation to all SK Councils who participated, and to the barangay officials who continue to support the development of empowered, capable, and community-driven youth leaders.
Let’s move forward together — para sa mas makabuluhang pamumuno ng kabataan sa Maragusan!

An inspiring and productive days of the Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation of Maragusan took an important step toward shaping a brighter future for our youth with the 𝘾𝙔 2026-2028 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣 (𝘾𝘽𝙔𝘿𝙋) 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥, held at the scenic La Sierra Farm in Las Arenas, Pantukan, Davao de Oro.

The workshop gathered passionate SK Officials and experts for a day of collaboration and learning. We were honored to be joined by our Municipal Vice Mayor Cesar C. Colina Sr., former Mayor Ate Maris Colina-Vendiola and distinguished resource speakers: Mr. Keith Mikel Tanueco, the Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) of Maragusan; Ms. Floramae Hondrada, Youth Development Officer II of the Province of Davao de Oro, and Mr. Emmanuel Clarion, Education Program Supervisor. Their wealth of knowledge and commitment to youth development truly inspired us all.
Through insightful discussions and shared ideas, we worked together to create a comprehensive and sustainable youth development plan that reflects the unique needs and aspirations of our communities.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this workshop a success. Special appreciation to La Sierra Farm of Kons Eufelu "Wewe" Anino for providing such a beautiful and conducive environment for our discussions. We are excited for the future and look forward to turning our plans into action. 💪💙
