The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Bucana successfully held its 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 on August 06, 2025, focusing on the accomplishments of the 1st Quarter KK Assembly and the planning for the upcoming Linggo ng Kabataan 2025.

The SK Council expressed their appreciation for the successful 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗞 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆. SK Chairperson Hon. Mo.j A. Alicida thanked the SK Council members and the dedicated Purok Youth Leaders who volunteered, acknowledging their efforts in making the assembly a success.

Following the successful KK Assembly, the SK Chairperson requested the SK Treasurer, Ms. Melonie C. Tayon, to process the necessary documents for the 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗞 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀’ 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁. This ensures that all SK officials are compensated for their hard work and dedication to serving the youth of Barangay Bucana.

The council also discussed the 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. The finalized events and activities for the Linggo ng Kabataan will be posted on the official SK Bucana page, keeping the youth informed and engaged.

The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Bucana successfully convened its 𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 on July 27, 2025, to discuss key matters including the planning and budgeting for the first Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) Assembly of the year, the honorarium for SK officials, and updates on the requirements of the Commission on Audit (COA).

During the session, the SK Council finalized the 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗞𝗞 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. The finalized details and activities for the KK Assembly will be posted on the official page of SK Bucana to ensure all members of the KK are informed and can participate.

The council also discussed the 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗞 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲. This matter was given due attention to ensure that all processes are transparent and compliant with regulations.

Lastly, the 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗢𝗔 were reported by the SK Treasurer. The council is committed to fulfilling all necessary requirements to maintain accountability and transparency in its operations.

During the session, the SK Council discussed and finalized the array of events planned for the 𝟮𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗮. The council aimed to create a diverse and engaging program that celebrates the barangay's culture and brings the community together.

A key part of the session was the discussion and approval of the 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. The SK Council meticulously reviewed the financial requirements to ensure that all planned activities could be successfully executed.

Additionally, the SK Council approved the 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, which will be utilized during the upcoming events. Ensuring high-quality audio equipment is essential for the success of the celebrations.

The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Bucana successfully held its 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 on May 18, 2025, tackling initiatives that support both education and sports development within the community.

To show commitment to education, the SK Council approved the donation of 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 for classroom and facility improvement as part of their support for 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱. This initiative aims to provide a better learning environment for students by enhancing school facilities.

The session also highlighted SK Bucana’s support for sports development. A ₱𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 was approved for the procurement of 𝗷𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀 for 12 players representing Barangay Bucana in the 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. This assistance reflects the SK’s dedication to promoting youth participation in sports and fostering unity through athletic engagement.

Additionally, the Council addressed the issue of the 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 needed for the upcoming basketball league. To ensure readiness and smooth conduct of the games, a ₱𝟯,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 was approved for its immediate repair.

The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Bucana successfully conducted its 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 on April 27, 2025, at the SK Office. The session focused on compliance with existing regulations and addressed important financial matters of the Council.

During the meeting, SK Chairperson 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗼.𝗷 𝗔. 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗮 informed the Council about 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟭𝟬𝟵𝟵𝟵, which strictly prohibits the release, disbursement, or expenditure of public funds—including SK funds—from March 28, 2025, to May 11, 2025, due to the election period fund ban.

It was also reported that two cheques intended for the release of SK officials’ honorarium covering 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 were cancelled due to clerical errors. Since the cancellation occurred just before the implementation of the election fund ban, the Council agreed that the honorarium will be reprocessed and released only after the lifting of the ban on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

The afternoon of 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 brought thrill and adventure as the youth of Barangay Bucana joined the 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲 challenge. Participants competed in fun and exciting tasks that tested not only their speed and endurance but also teamwork, problem-solving, and strategy.

The race fostered camaraderie and unity among the youth while promoting the value of collaboration and perseverance—true to the spirit of 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 and its theme “𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗗𝗚𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱.”

The 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 celebration in Barangay Bucana came to a joyful close with the 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 held at the Bucana Covered Court. Outstanding participants and winners from the various competitions were recognized for their talent, dedication, and active involvement throughout the three-day celebration.

The evening was filled with cheers, music, and unity as the youth gathered to celebrate their victories and shared experiences. The Closing Ceremony highlighted the success of this year’s celebration anchored on the theme “𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗗𝗚𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱,” leaving a lasting message of empowerment, camaraderie, and youth leadership.
