BSP Davao Oriental Council Joins CDRRMC in Response to Mati’s Doublet Offshore Earthquake

On October 13, 2025, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Davao Oriental Council, represented by Public Relations Commissioner Sct. Shereyl C. Samocino, joined the CDRRMC meeting at the CDRRMO to discuss response efforts after the doublet offshore earthquake in Mati.

Scouts committed to assisting in relief operations, community support, and mental health services, working alongside city officials to ensure residents’ safety and well-being.

Through this collaboration, the BSP continues to demonstrate resilience, leadership, and solidarity, standing ready to serve the community in times of need.

Scouts from Buko buko ES of Boston District joined the launching of Brigada Eskwela 2025. Thanks to the initiative of Sct. Jessa Mae Lintogonan, School BSP Coordinator together w/their District BSP Coordinator, Scout Philip Ibanez Bulala, under the supervision and leadership of their PSDS, Ma'am Estela Montejo.

Scout Leader Jimboy Huerto, WBH, represented the Eastern Mindanao Region (EMR) last May 20-23, 2025, to National Training on Green Skills for Youth-led Climate Actions around Green Rising held in Makiling National Scout Reservation (MNSR) Camp. He's now one of EMR's Regional Focal for the Green Rising Project.
