IN PHOTOS // TURN-OVER OF DURIAN SEEDLINGS TO FARMERS IN SURIGAO DEL SUR
The Community Development Team of 67th Infantry “Agila” Battalion supported local livelihood initiatives by assisting in the delivery of 10,800 durian seedlings from the Department of Agriculture (Regional Office).
The seedlings were turned over to the Masaganang Greenfield Sustainable Livelihood Program Farmers Association during an activity held at Sitio Greenfield, Brgy. Sta. Juana, Tagbina, Surigao del Sur, in coordination with the Municipal Agriculture Office.
The farmer-beneficiaries, , formally received the seedlings. The initiative aims to enhance agricultural productivity and promote sustainable livelihood opportunities in the community. This activity reflects the continued collaboration among the unit, local government, and stakeholders in strengthening food security and community development.

67TH INFANTRY “AGILA” BATTALION CONDUCTS FLAG-RAISING CEREMONY; OFFICER AWARDED MILITARY MERIT MEDAL

BAGANGA, DAVAO ORIENTAL – On 06 April 2026, the 67th Infantry “Agila” Battalion, 10th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, conducted its regular Monday flag-raising ceremony at Headquarters 67IB, Camp Ramon Apostol, Brgy. Salingcomot, Baganga, Davao Oriental.

The activity was led by LTC NOE VENANCIO T BALUYAN JR, INF (GSC) PA, Battalion Commander, and attended by the officers and enlisted personnel of the unit.

During the ceremony, 2LT CHRYSOLITE CLEAR A GALLOFIN (ARM) PA was awarded the Military Merit Medal in recognition of her outstanding performance of duty and the valuable services rendered to the unit. A Plaque of Appreciation was also presented for her exemplary service and leadership in connection with her upcoming reassignment to the Armor Division, Philippine Army.

This recognition underscores the unit’s commitment to honoring personnel who demonstrate professionalism, dedication, and excellence in the performance of their duties.

67IB SUPPORTS LIVELIHOOD INITIATIVE FOR FORMER REBELS IN DAVAO ORIENTAL

Baganga, Davao Oriental – The Community Development Team (CDT) of Charlie Company, 67th Infantry “Agila” Battalion (67IB), 10th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, provided assistance in the delivery and turnover of 375 heads of Ready-to-Lay (RTL) chickens to the Davao Oriental Former Rebels Association (DOFRA) at Brgy. Campawan, Baganga, Davao Oriental.

The livelihood support was facilitated under the Department of Agriculture – Special Area for Agricultural Development (DA-SAAD) Program, aimed at enhancing income-generating capabilities and reinforcing the reintegration of former rebels into productive civilian life.

The activity was spearheaded by Ms. Mary Ann Ambasan, Municipal Agriculturist of MAGRO Baganga, in coordination with Mr. Darryl Jay Medrano, Community Development Officer II of the DA-SAAD Region, with support from local stakeholders.

This initiative highlights the sustained collaboration between the Philippine Army, government agencies, and community partners in advancing inclusive development, strengthening social reintegration efforts, and promoting lasting peace and stability in the province.

LOOK | 67IB PARTICIPATED IN A SIMULTANEOUS FLAG RAISING AND CANDLE LIGHTING CEREMONY TO CONDEMN NPA ATROCITIES

Baganga, Davao Oriental –The troops of the 67th Infantry “Agila” Battalion, led by LTC NOE VENANCIO T BALUYAN JR INF (GSC) PA, Battalion Commander, participated on the simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony and Candle Lighting Prayer at Headquarters, 67IB, Barangay Salingcomot, Baganga, Davao Oriental.

The activity was held in commemoration of and to condemn the victims of “spy-tagging” by the New People’s Army (NPA), a pattern of violence targeting civilians accused of being informants. The ceremony served as a solemn tribute to the victims and a call for justice and protection of innocent lives.

The event emphasized the unit’s commitment to uphold human rights, protect communities, and raise awareness on the deceptive and harmful practices of terrorist groups.

The 67IB reaffirmed its dedication to safeguarding the and maintaining peace and security in its area of responsibility through sustained military and civil-military operations.

Baganga, Davao Oriental – Senior Master Sergeant Jardiolyn E Serva (Inf) PA, 10th Infantry Division Sergeant Major, conducted a Troops Information and Education (TI&E) session and assessed the Morale, Welfare, and Discipline (MWD) of troops during his visit to the Headquarters, 67th Infantry “Agila” Battalion, Camp Ramon Apostol, Barangay Salingcomot, Baganga, Davao Oriental.

The activity is part of the Division Sergeant Major’s continuing efforts to ensure and sustain high morale, welfare, and discipline among 10th Infantry Division troopers. During the engagement, SMS Serva emphasized the importance of professionalism, adherence to military standards, and maintaining operational readiness at all times.

He also underscored the vital role of leadership at all levels in fostering a disciplined and mission-focused organization, while encouraging troops to remain committed to their duties in support of the unit’s mandate.

The visit further reinforced the command’s commitment to strengthening internal cohesion, enhancing troop welfare, and upholding the highest standards of discipline within the ranks.
