Tomorrow, February 22nd, is the day! Whether rain or shine, this fun run must go on, and we're so excited to see you all!
To help you conquer the course, here's a look at our official route map!

📝 Onsite Registration:

- 4:00 PM: 10 KM 1st Release

Know Your Turning Points:

- 3 KM Runners: You'll turn around at Santos Hill ES (as marked with the red flag on the map!).
- 5 KM Runners: Your turnaround point is at SEAIT (look for the blue flag!).
- 10 KM Runners: Go further and make your turn at Crossing Rubber (marked with the yellow flag!).

Take a moment to familiarize yourselves with the path, especially your designated turnaround points. Let's make every step count for our seas and our nation!

Rido sa Shariff Saydona Mustapha, Matagumpay na Naayos

Datu Piang, MDS — Isang mahalagang hakbang tungo sa pangmatagalang kapayapaan ang nakamit ngayong araw, Enero 12, 2026, matapos pormal na maayos ang isang matagal nang "Rido" o alitan ng mga angkan na tumagal ng ilang taon. Ang nasabing pagkakasundo ay ginanap sa Headquarters ng 6th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army sa Brgy. Buayan, Datu Piang, Maguindanao del Sur.

Ang alitan sa pagitan ng mga pamilya nina Datunino Ibrahim at Aladin Singh ay tuluyan nang winakasan sa pamamagitan ng mapayapang diyalogo. Ang dalawang panig ay nagkasundo na kalimutan ang mga nakaraang hidwaan at lumagda sa isang kasunduan ng kapayapaan upang matiyak ang kaligtasan at katahimikan ng kanilang mga pamilya at komunidad.

Naging matagumpay ang pag-aayos na ito sa tulong at pangunguna nina LTC Al Victor C Burkley INF (GSC) PA Commading Officer ng 6IB, Kagui Johnny Guiaman mula sa PSRO, at Melo Manan na kinatawan ng M**F-CCCH . Ang kanilang pagkakaisa ay nagpapatunay sa matibay na ugnayan ng militar at ng M**F sa pagpapanatili ng seguridad sa Maguindanao del Sur.

Sa pagpili sa landas ng kapayapaan, ang mga pamilyang Ibrahim at Singh ay nagsilbing magandang halimbawa sa rehiyon. Umaasa ang mga lokal na pinuno na ang settlement na ito ay magbubukas ng pinto para sa higit pang pag-unlad at katahimikan sa lugar, bilang patunay na ang pag-uusap at pagtutulungan ang susi sa paghilom ng mga sugat ng nakaraan.

Ngayong Bisperas ng Pasko, sama-sama nating pakinggan ang “KANLURAN”—isang awit ng pagkilala at paninindigan para sa ating mga bantay-dagat at bantay-bayan na patuloy na naglilingkod sa West Philippine Sea.
Sa bawat pag-alon, naroon ang tahimik na sakripisyo: pagbabantay, pagprotekta, at pagtitiyak na mananatiling matatag ang ating tindig sa karapatan at dignidad ng bansa. Ang “KANLURAN” ay paalala na ang soberanya ay hindi lamang usapin ng hangganan—ito ay usapin ng pagkakaisa, katatagan, at pagmamahal sa bayan.

The 6th Infantry "Redskin" Battalion stands in absolute and resolute solidarity with the recent pronouncement of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, reaffirming our sacred and unwavering commitment to the tenets of the Constitution, the preservation of our democratic institutions, and the perpetual maintenance of the highest standard of professional conduct and absolute non-partisanship. We are fully geared and prepared to execute our mandate with impeccable discipline and unyielding respect for the civilian authority, thereby fully guaranteeing the fundamental right of the Filipino people to freedom of expression and the exercise of peaceful assembly as scheduled on the specified dates of 16-18 and 30 November. Moreover, the Battalion will proactively collaborate and coordinate seamlessly with law enforcement agencies and event organizers to ensure these critical democratic gatherings are conducted in a safe, orderly, and strictly law-abiding manner, thus aggressively safeguarding the integrity of these essential exercises against any unlawful machinations or subversive attempts by infiltrators or external, destabilizing elements.

A New Chapter for Peace: 16 Former Extremists Reintegrate in Maguindanao del Sur!
Datu Piang, Maguindanao del Sur – In a massive win for peace and stability, sixteen (16) former violent extremists (FVEs) have voluntarily laid down their arms and surrendered to the government fold today, November 12, 2025. This significant development is a testament to the continuous and dedicated efforts to dismantle local terrorist groups (LTGs) in the region.
The FVEs were formally presented by LTC AL VICTOR C BURKLEY INF (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer of the 6th Infantry (Redskin) Battalion, to BGEN EDGAR L. CATU PA, Commander of the 601st Infantry Brigade, 6ID, PA, at Headquarters 6IB, Datu Piang.
BGEN CATU shared a heartfelt message to the returnees:"To our 16 brothers who are here today, you made the right decision to convert and change your lives for your families because they are the ones who are truly affected by this, especially your children."
The recent decision to surrender, which included a substantial cache of weaponry, signifies a major reduction in armed conflict potential by removing several key fi****ms and explosive devices from circulation. This significant haul comprised of M16A1 Rifle, FAL rifle, and two M653 A1 rifles, alongside various homemade weapons that represent considerable offensive capability. The homemade arsenal was particularly concerning, featuring an array of improvised heavy weaponry designed for long-range and explosive impact, including two 60mm Mortars, a Sniper Rifle, four RPGs (Rocket-Propelled Gr***des), an M79 GL (Gr***de Launcher), and both a Cal .50 and a Cal .30 Sniper Rifle. The cache was rounded out with a single M14 Rifle (Homemade) and a Cal .38 Pistol, collectively confirming the dismantling of a formidable, albeit partially improvised, armed capacity.
To ensure a smooth and sustainable transition back to civilian life, the Former Violent Extremists (FVEs) received robust, multi-faceted assistance from dedicated local leaders and stakeholders, commencing with a substantial donation of 56 sacks of rice collectively provided by MP Atty Bai Sittie Fahanie S Uy-uyod (16 sacks), Datu Piang Municipality (16 sacks), Nabalawag Municipality (16 sacks), Mamasapano Municipality (4 sacks), and the municipalities of Datu Hoffer and Datu Saudi Ampatuan (2 sacks each), complemented by cash assistance from other generous Local Chief Executives (LCEs); this strategic and concerted support is fundamentally designed to empower the FVEs to address immediate needs, rebuild their lives with dignity, support their families, and ultimately integrate as productive, contributing members of their respective communities.
The event highlighted the united front for peace, with key figures present, including Mayor Victor T Samama of Datu Piang, representatives from Mamasapano, Datu Salibo, Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Datu Hoffer, Nabalawag, and other vital stakeholders.
