The Municipal Population and Development Office successfully conducted the 2nd Quarter Barangay Service Point Officers (BSPO) Meeting on June 19, 2026, at the Municipal Function Hall, Poblacion, Damulog, Bukidnon.

The meeting was spearheaded by Bryan Brech C. Duran, LPT, DE, Municipal Population Officer, and served as a venue to discuss updates, programs, accomplishments, and upcoming activities related to population and development initiatives in the municipality.

The activity highlighted the vital role of our BSPOs in delivering population and development services at the barangay level, strengthening community participation, and supporting the implementation of responsive programs for the welfare of every Damulognon.

LGU DAMULOG, through the Municipal Population & Development Office, successfully hosted the 2-Day Training for the Newly Appointed Barangay Service Point Officers (BSPO) from the Municipalities of Kitaotao, Dangcagan, Don Carlos, Kadingilan, Maramag, Kibawe, San Fernando & Damulog entitled:

This activity aimed to equip our newly appointed BSPOs with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to effectively carry out population and development initiatives at the barangay level. The training highlighted the vital role of BSPOs as frontliners in delivering responsive, inclusive, and sustainable community-based programs.

Strengthening grassroots service delivery for a more responsive and empowered community! 💙

The Municipal Population Development Office, led by PopDev Officer Bryan Brech C. Duran, successfully conducted the 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐁𝐒𝐏𝐎) 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 on March 18, 2026, held at the Municipal Function Hall.

The activity gathered dedicated BSPOs from different barangays of LGU Damulog, reinforcing their vital role as frontliners in delivering population and development programs at the community level. The meeting served as a platform to review accomplishments, align priorities, and set strategic targets for the upcoming months—ensuring that services remain inclusive, data-driven, and responsive to the needs of every Damulognon.

Adding value to the activity was the presence of esteemed speaker Ms. Joan P. Espanueva, PPO II from Provincial Population and Development of Bukidnon, who shared her expertise, insights, and guidance on strengthening population programs and enhancing the effectiveness of BSPOs in their respective areas. Her discussion inspired participants to further elevate their commitment to public service and community development.

Through this initiative, LGU Damulog continues to empower its grassroots workforce, recognizing that strong collaboration and clear direction are key to achieving sustainable development and improved quality of life for all.

The Municipal Population and Development Office of LGU Damulog successfully conducted the 4th Quarter Barangay Service Point Officers (BSPO) Meeting last October 29, 2025 at the Municipal Function Hall, Damulog, Bukidnon.

The meeting served as an important platform for reviewing quarterly accomplishments, identifying gaps, and strengthening population-related programs across all barangays. Discussions focused on updates regarding population data management, adolescent health and development initiatives, responsible parenthood and family planning programs, and community-based interventions that support families and individuals.

The activity also highlighted the continued commitment of our BSPOs in delivering timely and valuable services at the grassroots level—ensuring that accurate information, population services, and development programs reach every household in the community.
