Twenty-six students from MSU-Buug pursuing the course of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture majoring in Animal Science, conducted their culminating activity today August 8, 2025, for the 320 hrs. Internship at the Northern Mindanao Agricultural Crops and Livestock Research Complex.

Twenty (20) Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management Interns from MSU Marawi conducted their culmination activity on August 11, 2025, at the Department of Agriculture - Northern Mindanao Agricultural Crops and Livestock Research Complex (DA-NMACLRC), Dalwangan, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

Dr. Abdani D. Bandera, Chairperson and OJT Program Coordinator, graced the event together with the on-site supervisors and the OIC-Chief of NMACLRC, Ma'am Jocelyn M. Ellevera.
During his inspirational message, Dr. Abdani said that even if the journey of their internship ends today it doesn't stop there; they should always be ready for what is about to come. The learnings they gained during lectures and field exposure in this institution will serve as their guide as they continue with their dream to succeed and have a successful career in the years ahead.

Sixty-nine (69) Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Crop Science from Tubod College conducted their culminating activity on August 5, 2025 after their 240 hour On-the-Job training at Northern Mindanao Agricultural Crops and Livestock Research Complex (NMACLRC).

OJT Supervisors/Coordinators Marjun D. Brignas, Windeyn Y. Conde, Racquel Grace Q. Fungot attended the activity together with NMACLRC staff.

Mischelle F. Egama, Science Research Specialist II, thanked the supervisors for their presence and highlighted that the students gained a deeper understanding of the real world beyond the campus through the experiences they had during their stay.

Supervisors Windelyn Conde and Racquel Grace Q. Fungot expressed their heartfelt gratitude to NMACLRC for their unwavering dedication and passion for teaching, emphasizing the meaningful impact it had on the students’ minds and hearts, as well as the valuable skills they will carry with them into the future.

The acitivity were attended by NMACLRC staff and the students.

In her message, Dafni C. Carreon, Science Research Specialist I conveyed her hope that they put into practice not only the theories learned in school but also the practical lessons gained here.

Ten (10) Bachelor of Science in Agroforestry students from Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) held their culminating activity today July 29, 2025,after their 240-hour on-the-job training at the Northern Mindanao Agricultural Crops and Livestock Research Complex (NMACLRC).

The activity were attended by OJT Coordinators Rhegyn D. Tocmo and Alvert G. Monera, together with NMACLRC OIC Chief Jocelyn M. Ellevera and staff.

Mischelle F. Egama, Science Research Specialist II, emphasized in her message that everything will pass so cherish the people around you, cultivate the skills you are passionate about, strive to excel in everything you do, and avoid competing with others.

DNSC Coordinator Rhegyn D. Tocmo expressed her heartfelt gratitude to DA RFO 10 and NMACLRC for their patience and for providing their students with valuable practical experience and knowledge. A total of 115 students from various universities and colleges completed their 240-hour On-the-Job Training (OJT) and held their culminating activity on July 25, 2025 at Northern Mindanao Agricultural Crops and Livestock Research Complex (NMACLRC).

The participating colleges and their respective courses were as follows:: 19 from Mindanao State University (MSU)-General Santos City, comprising 5 BS in Agribusiness Management and 14 BSA Agronomy; 29 from MSU-Buug, with 11 BSA Farming System and 18 BSA Agronomy; 10 from MSU-Buug RTLIM, all taking BSA Agronomy; 17 from MSU-Naawan, including 4 BSA Animal Science and 13 BSA Agronomy; 32 from MSU-Lanao del Norte Agricultural College, composed of 10 BSA in Agronomy, 15 BSA in Animal Science, and 7 BSA Extension and Education; and 8 from Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU), all enrolled in BS in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.

The program were attended by OJT Coordinators Edsel Angel Conque, Jover Abas, Reybhoy Ramos, Daisy Cadotdot, Nelaida Kapirig, Angelie Laput, and Gleven Jay Laraño, along with NMACLRC OIC Chief Jocelyn M. Ellevera and the staff.

In her message, Jocelyn M. Ellevera stated, “We will do our best to provide you with knowledge, but you must also take responsibility to learn more and make the most of your stay here.”

Meanwhile, the OJT coordinators conveyed their appreciation to DA RFO X and NMACLRC for their continued partnership and expressed hope for further collaborations with the complex in nurturing the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Twenty-four (24) interns from Central Mindanao University (CMU) including six (6) BS Biology major in Plant Biology and eighteen (18) BS Biology major in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology conducted their culminating activity today July 22, 2025 after their 240 hour on-the-job training at Northern Mindanao Agricultural Cops and Livestock Research Complex (NMACLRC).

Present during activity were faculty members Dr. Mark Lloyd G. Dapar, Dr. Joliesa Mae S. Toledo, Noe P. Mendez, Evangeline B. Sinamban and Joevina C. Nobleza,along with NMACLRC OIC Chief Jocelyn M. Ellevera and staff.

Senior Science Research Specialist Engr. Ronald J. Pasilan, in his message, expressed hope that the interns would share and advocate the knowledge they gained during their stay at the station.

Sixteen (16) Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Extension Education from Mindanao State University (MSU)- Marawi conducted their culminating activity today July 22, 2025 after their 240 hour On-the-Job training at Northern Mindanao Agricultural Crops and Livestock Research Complex (NMACLRC).

The activity were attended by their Faculty Coordinator Sittie Sahaya S. Samporna, PhD. NMACLRC OIC Chief Jocelyn M. Ellevera and staff.

Jocelyn M. Ellevera thanked them for choosing NMACLRC and urged them to keep valuing agriculture as it sustains the nation.

Dr. Samporna expressed her appreciation to the Department of Agriculture for their consistent warm welcome, support, mentorship, and generosity to their students over the years.

The activity was attended by their faculty members Israel B. Obedencio, Aila Joy D. Andoyo, and Vincent S. Languay, along with Regional Technical Director Cora A. Dumayaca, Research Division Chief Lorena V. Duna, NMACLRC OIC Chief Jocelyn M. Ellevera, and staff.

In her message, RTD Cora A. Dumayaca emphasized the value of cultivating a business-oriented mindset at a young age.

Mr. Languay, the school program coordinator, thanked the Department of Agriculture for its support and for fostering a learning environment for their students.
