Home to the first Filipino surfboard shaper, whose craftsmanship in the 1960s helped shape the roots of surfing in the country, Bagasbas remains a symbol of passion, heritage, and community.

The Safe Surf BGB National Surfing Competition and 3rd National Surfing Summit brought together surfers, surf communities, and ocean enthusiasts to honor the pioneers of Philippine surfing, showcase local talent, and inspire the next generation of wave riders.

More than a competition, it was a celebration of our surfing roots, local culture, and the enduring spirit of the sea. As the waves continue to break, the legacy lives on. 🌊
