Cold Fogging/Misting

The Municipal Health Office, in coordination with the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Dogongan, conducted cold misting in Barangay Dogongan as part of ongoing efforts to prevent the spread of dengue. The activity was carried out in response to the barangay’s classification as a dengue hotspot and aims to help reduce the risk of transmission and protect the health and safety of the community.

Prior to the cold-misting activity, the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Dogongan conducted dengue vector surveillance and continuous search-and-destroy operations to identify and eliminate potential mosquito-breeding sites. These activities helped ensure that breeding sites were addressed as part of the barangay’s comprehensive dengue-prevention efforts.

Residents are encouraged to maintain clean surroundings, regularly eliminate standing water, and seek prompt medical attention if symptoms of dengue occur.
