TIGER POWER IN SEA GAMES 2025 🐯🏅

FORMER AND CURRENT Thomasian athletes raked in 24 medals for sixth placer Team Philippines in the 2025 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games held in Thailand from Dec. 9 to 20.

The Philippines concluded the 33rd edition of the regional meet with a total haul of 276 medals, comprising 50 golds, 73 silvers and 153 bronzes.

Spearheading the Thomasian contribution were 16 athletes who secured a total of 10 gold medals led by two-time Olympian EJ Obiena. The Thomasian sports icon outdid himself by resetting the SEA Games pole vault record to capture his fourth straight title, jumping 5.70 meters to shatter the 5.65m record he set in Cambodia two years ago.

Ceremonial Send-Off and Blessing of Soldier-Athletes and Soldier
Coaches for the 33rd SEA Games

COL RUBEN B GUINOLBAY GSC (INF) PA, The Chief Special Service, AFP presented the 132 soldier-athletes and soldier-coaches who were selected to compete in the upcoming 33rd Southeast Asian Games, composed of 58 elite soldier-athletes from the Philippine Air Force, 45 from the Philippine Army, and 29 from the Philippine Navy.

The Ceremonial Send-off and Blessing was jibed during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at the GHQ Canopy led by GEN ROMEO S BRAWNER JR PA, the Chief of Staff, AFP. He urged them not only to do their best in their respective sports event to bring pride and honor, but also be ambassadors of goodwill for our country.

The 33rd Southeast Asian Games will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from 09 to 20 December 2025.
