𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: CCPO personnel led by PLTCOL JUDE MARLON D DEL CARMEN, DCDA, under the supervision of PCOL JIBIN M BONGCAYAO, City Director, attended the Closing Ceremony of Brigada Eskwela at Notre Dame Village National High School, Brgy. Rosary Heights 8, Cotabato City.
On June 5, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.

The activity was led by Ms. Tarhata S. Lauban, Principal II, and highlighted the collective efforts of stakeholders, volunteers, and school personnel in preparing the school for the opening of classes and ensuring a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for students.

The activity aimed to secure school facilities and promote a safe, orderly, and conducive learning environment for both students and teachers. It also sought to strengthen collaboration among the school, the community, and the police in maintaining peace, security, and public safety.

At about 9:00 AM on June 5, 2026, PLT ROCHELLE D EVANGELISTA, Chief PIO/Deputy CADU, presided over a conference meeting with Community Affairs and Development and Operations personnel from various police stations, including the CMFC, MPU, and TEU. The meeting was held at the Conference Room, City Headquarters, Brgy. Rosary Heights 1, PC Hill, Cotabato City.

The conference aimed to strengthen coordination among PCR units, enhance the implementation of community relations programs, and address current issues and concerns in the delivery of effective public service. It also focused on aligning strategies to further improve community engagement, information dissemination, and the overall performance of personnel in maintaining peace, order, and public safety.

The activity likewise served as a venue for discussing updates, sharing best practices, and reinforcing the commitment of all units toward achieving the objectives of community-oriented and service-driven policing.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦| On June 3, 2026, at approximately 1:30 PM, Mr. Ohgiya Koji, Ms. Shimakage Mayuko, and Ms. Chitt P. Cañete, OPT Officer of the Embassy of Japan, paid a courtesy visit to PCOL JIBIN M BONGCAYAO, City Director of the Cotabato City Police Office (CCPO), at the City Director's Office, Cotabato City.

PCOL BONGCAYAO warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed his appreciation for their visit. He also highlighted the commitment of the CCPO in maintaining a safe, secure, and peaceful environment for both local residents and foreign nationals residing in or visiting Cotabato City. The Japanese Embassy representatives likewise conveyed their gratitude for the continued support and assistance extended by the Philippine National Police, particularly in ensuring the welfare and security of Japanese nationals and Embassy-related activities in the region.

The courtesy visit aimed to strengthen the existing relationship and foster closer coordination between the Embassy of Japan and the Cotabato City Police Office. During the meeting, the parties engaged in meaningful discussions on matters of mutual interest, particularly on security concerns, peace and order initiatives, community engagement programs, and the promotion of cooperation between local law enforcement agencies and foreign stakeholders operating within the area.

On June 3, 2026, at approximately 9:30 AM, PCOL JIBIN M BONGCAYAO, City Director of the Cotabato City Police Office, attended the Closing Ceremony of the Community and Service-Oriented Policing (CSOP) Program together with PCOL GEORGE D BAGUNDOL, Provincial Director of the Maguindanao del Norte Police Provincial Office, held at KDT EM Manor Hotel, Cotabato City.

The activity served as the culminating event of the CSOP program, which aims to strengthen police-community relations through active engagement, partnership-building, and the promotion of community participation in maintaining peace and order. The ceremony was attended by police personnel, local stakeholders, and program participants who successfully completed the training and related activities under the CSOP framework.

During the program, the accomplishments and best practices of the participants were highlighted, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts between law enforcement agencies and the community in addressing public safety concerns. The activity also provided an opportunity for participants to share insights and experiences gained throughout the program, reinforcing the principles of service-oriented and community-centered policing.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒| In line with the PNP Focused Agenda on Community Partnership, personnel of CCPO Community Affairs and Development Unit led by PEMS Mary Jane B Perez, Chief Clerk, CADU, together with PMSg Mohamad G Aragasi, Salaam PNCO, Pat Salamat Saludin, Assistant IORS PNCO and NUP Phoebe Love A Hadji Eskak, under the leadership of PCOL JIBIN M BONGCAYAO, City Director, participated in the Kick-Off Ceremony of Brigada Eskwela 2026 with the theme, “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” held at Notre Dame Village National High School, Brgy. Rosary Heights 8, Cotabato City.

This activity aimed to strengthen collaboration among stakeholders, promote community involvement in preparing schools for the opening of classes, foster a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for students, and enhance partnership between the Philippine National Police, educational institutions, and the community in support of quality education and public service.

The highlight of the activity was the signing of the Pledge of Commitment by the stakeholders from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Army (PA), Philippine Marines PN (M), PTA Officers and other line agencies.

On June 2, 2026, at approximately 9:00 AM, PCOL JIBIN M. BONGCAYAO, City Director of the Cotabato City Police Office (CCPO), attended the City Joint Security Control Center (CJSCC) Meeting held at the CCPO Conference Room, PC Hill, Rosary Heights 1, Cotabato City. The meeting was presided over by Atty. Muamar A. Guyo, City Election Officer of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Cotabato City.

The activity was conducted to strengthen coordination and collaboration among concerned government agencies and security stakeholders in preparation for upcoming election-related activities and to ensure the maintenance of peace, order, and public safety within the city. Discussions focused on the implementation of security measures, election contingency plans, threat assessments, and the respective roles and responsibilities of participating agencies in safeguarding the integrity of the electoral process.

Also in attendance were the Station Commanders of CCPO, members of the Quad Staff, Teddy U. Inta, MPA, City Treasurer of Cotabato City, Bai Rojana M. Sinsuat-Imam, Schools Division Superintendent of Cotabato City, and a representative from MBLT-6, along with other key personnel and stakeholders. During the meeting, participants presented updates, shared relevant concerns, and discussed strategies aimed at enhancing inter-agency coordination and ensuring effective security coverage before, during, and after election-related activities.

Furthermore, the attendees emphasized the importance of maintaining open communication lines, timely information sharing, and immediate coordination among all concerned agencies to address potential security issues and other election-related concerns. The participants also reaffirmed their commitment to supporting COMELEC initiatives and ensuring a peaceful, orderly, honest, and credible electoral process in Cotabato City.

On June 1, 2026, at around 4:35 PM, personnel of Police Station 4-CCPO, led by PCPT EDUARDO M MALICDEM, successfully arrested a drug suspect at Purok Duhat, Mother Barangay Bagua, Cotabato City.

The suspect, Alias "Yasser," 27, was caught after selling two (2) small plastic sachets of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer. The illegal drugs weighed 0.08 grams with a value of Php 544.00.

The operation was conducted together with 1404th-RMFB14-A, CPDEU-CCPO, CIU-CCPO, and PDEA-BAR. The suspect is now facing charges for violation of RA 9165.
